Appetite for destruction- Guns an’ Roses controversial album covers! 

I got this from you last year. One of the best purchases I made in 2022.

In a rare, lucky moment...way back in the mid 80s, I wandered into an NYC at gallery which happened to be having a Robert Williams' exhibition of original paintings. This painting, along with many others, was on display. They are large and wildly impressive. That guy is on another level.

Are you planning on doing the Jim Nabors album, where he’s dressed as Satan and crouched beside the statue of Jesus that’s covered in maggots? I love his cover of Green, Green Grass of Home off that one.

Great video! It is not as rare as most think because they actually did a relatively big reissue of the album in the summer/fall of 1988, which included the “banned” cover. The second pressings of both the cross cover and Robert Williams painting cover had the larger square hype sticker. I do not believe that they changed any matrix numbers for the reissue. The one you have is a true first pressing because of the oval sticker. As you mentioned, we know that there are 30,000 first pressings, but I have always wondered how many banned covers there are, including the reissue.
