If you are thinking about applying for the new Apple credit card, this video answers a lot of the questions that people have been asking. What are the Apple Card rewards? What if you need to find out how to get a replacement Apple Card or if you need to freeze access to your card if it's lost or stolen?
This was meant to be an Apple Card preview, but Apple has actually released the new card publicly as of just this week - so anyone can now head into the Wallet app on their iPhone (an iPhone is required in order to apply for the card) and within a few simple taps, get an offer for the card, accept it, and start using it right away. The Apple credit card application really is that simple and easy.

I do admit it does look cool but there are other cards out there that give you alot more cashback, points, miles etc for what you spend. Aesthetics aside,There is no reason to this card IMHO.

The card looks and feels so cool but I don’t think 3% cashback at ubereats and 1% everywhere else is a deal lol if it was 3% cash back for gas & restaurants, I definitely would’ve applied

A lot of restaurants and gas stations accept Apple Pay (like Safeway), so you can get the 2% back

For Apple Cash, can you use it to pay a partial balance? For example, if I only have $10 on Apple Cash, can I use it to get my $20 purchase down and then pay for the rest with another card?

I can’t seem to find any information about this... does the magnetic strip on the physical card produce a random number like the digital version when swiping? If not then it’s still prone to skimming/ data breaches as other credit cards. Thanks.

These would get the 1% cash back, unless you pay the bills using Apple Pay. If it's an automatic monthly charge that goes through, then it's likely just a normal credit card transaction for 1%.

Some online vendors offer Apple Pay as an option. If they offer it I can use it and get the 2% reward. If not offered it is as you stated. Thanks. I currently do this and get 1% reward from another cc. If I can get 2% I will change over to Apple Card. I too pay off at the end of the month.

i'm trying to apply but i have to turn on two factor authentication, and to do that i need to answer my security questions. But apparently I am answering them wrong so i somehow have to keep guessing everyday until i get them right. to reset them i have to answer them right, and apple cant do much to help.

Even though this video is several years old some of the basic principals to the Apple Card still apply. This video does a much better job at describing the differences between 1%, 2%, and 3% cash back than Apple currently does. For an Apple Card newbie I needed to understand the difference between this card and Apple Pay. I think the basic takeaway is to pay using your phone wherever possible if the merchant accepts Apple Pay to get the best percentage back. Thanks for the explanation.
