@@BillAnt meh I would be more embarrassed to be a Microsoft programmer scamming people for watching porn then ripping people off for a pc stand and yes Microsoft programmers do this shit I am shocked that Barnacles nerdgasm does this over get a free pc for being a nice guy on youutbe like every other youtuber but nope he has to scam Puget PC because Power is better then Kindness
basically sounds like they just want to hose you dry of cash better then Microsoft which will spy on you master bate to you while you master bate to porn record you doing it and then ask for 45 grand to make it disappear because that's the Microsoft way to surviving in the business world🤣🤣🤣 you wanted to know what was different with Microsoft over apple that's it apple wants cash Microsoft is a perverted psychotic money extorting machine in a nutshell so your smart to stick with apple at least with them you know where you stand🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1. Base cost to manufacture the product 2. +$200 3. Apple tax 4. +$200 5. Future litigation fee 6. +$200 7. Roll a dice, if 6 do nothing else +$200 8. Sales tax, government tax, customs tax, tax tax 9. Apple tax (yes, again) 10. +$200
I imagine only very limited businesses bought them because some employee didn't know what they were doing. I doubt anyone with 2 braincells bought those for personal use.
It's funny how they take stuff out of the box to save the environment (charger and headphones), but don't lower the price. They said everyone already has charging bricks, but then the cable they include in the box was for USB-C bricks, which most iPhone users didn't have. So when the old standard USB cables wore out, we had to spend money on new brick or new cables.
Of course it's just a bunch of BS! Most people go out and buy a new charger to match the new device's higher power requirement. Oh and Apple is serializing every friggin' part in their iPhones so it doesn't work well or at all if replaced by consumers. A great way to save the environment.... not!
Oh, and don't forget: Apple wants you to only use Apple branded charging bricks too. For "compatibility." And yes, they cost more. Don't buy them though, I am literally using a regular 4 port brick myself and it's fine.
More like the CFC - Chief Financial Clown of Apple. lol Seems like "$200 extra" is the magic number at Apple, oh wait lets double that, $400 there much better. lmo

@@BillAnt People in the North America work really hard for their money. I understand that there is a strong social pressure like not getting any dates if one doesn't use an iPhone, or higher levels of cyber security. Otherwise, I would rather use regular Windows computers than overpriced Mac's. It's weird that Americans complain so much about their finances, yet they waste unnecessary money on unnecessarily and ridiculously overpriced Apple products. Apple is "riding" on the gullability of the mislead people. It's so tragic, that it's already comic. It's a tragicomedy.
@@jex-the-notebook-guy1002 There's a browser plugin called "Return RU-vid Dislikes". It's not 100% accurate, as it only works by extrapolating the dislikes given by those with the extension onto the entire view count. But at least in my opinion, it's still good enough.
Oh yeah "Mathmatics" fo sho! lol Seems like "$200 extra" is the magic number at Apple, oh wait let's double that to $400 dollars.... there, much better. lmo
The wheels and the stand are insane to me. Even the $200 VESA mount costs as much as a low-mid end monitor. You can even get 2 low end monitors for that amount of money. For the $1000 stand, you can get a whole gaming laptop.
A stand for 1000 bucks that you could easily make yourself with like 100 bucks worth of tools is criminal in itself. I mean c'mon it's a L bent Aluminium plate with another plate that has 2 hinges on it and a magnet on the front. (Just checked as a consumer you can get the aluminum for like 20 bucks and I won't even get into the detail how cheap it would be for a company to buy in bulk)
It was your comment that made me realise how less he has. I always subconsciously thought he might be having about a million or so atleast. This guy is seriously underrated.
My partner is an "Apple Fan", I am a "PCGuy".... with the cost of the cables she has been forced to buy over the years I could afford a couple of spare PCs. When after yet another cable broke at the connector, in an Apple center after her complaints, they told her that she had mistreated the cable..... they are so advanced that they make cables with a sensitive character .( made in a sweatshop in Asia by the way)
Apple cables have always been impressively bad. I remember back in the early iphone days, somehow, everyone i knew who had an iphone had a completely frayed cable.
The $1000 stand is so crazy, even for Apple standards. You could buy the $200 vesa mount (which is already crazy overpriced) and buy a BALLER vesa stand, like being able to rotate, adjust, twist and do anything you can imagine, and you'd still be left with $600
The simplest way is "Apple is a high end brand" that's why they cost a premium. Just like Louis Vuitton, the bag itself only cost $300 (premium quality crocodile leather + few miligrams of gold coating) but they sell it for $5,000 simply because "LV" logo on it. Basically : they didn't sell a product, they sell BRAND.
My *vanity* and *status anxiety* are so excessive that I can't help myself! I NEED the $999 Apple stand with 3 adjustments! I can't be seen with an ergonomically superior $29 VESA stand with 4 adjustments!
I don't get why? Like I agree with the video but I don't get why you think of the dunning Kruger effect, that despite what people think it is just means a persons personal perceived expertise grows slower than there actually expertise. It doesn't mean people who know nothing about a subject think they are more knowledgably than experts or that moderately informed people think there knowledge is the least.
Beautiful iMaths. For those looking for something industry-specific, Immersive Translate now allows you to customize your own AI expert, it also allows translations in the technology field become more accurate and professional.
Most of those 'explanations' were great. The one exception was the Vision Pro: the comparison to ipads and air pod maxes doesn't have the same kind of logic that made some of the earlier ones so great (eg. the $1000 stand or the ipad keyboard) nor the obvious absurdity of some others (eg. replacing leather with recycled materials for same price). Based on what I've read, the price of the Vision Pro is actually quite fair (as in, Apple is not making huge margins on them). Obviously, just because it is a 'fair' price doesn't mean it is 'worth' that price to any particular consumer.
The value of a product is determined by how much money people are prepared to pay not by the quality, necessity, cost of production or service it provides. Remember that the majority of designer labelled items are made in the same factory using the same materials as no name items that sell for a lot cheaper.
Apple pricing is simple whatever it cost 10 years ago to upgrade RAM and SSD storage, is still the price we charge today, despite RAM and SSD prices now being 1/10th of what they were 10 years ago ! Just pretend its still 2015 and watch the profits sky rocket
And Apple users will never understand how people can submit themselves to using Microsoft's Windows or Google's Android. You only look at the hardware specifications and the prices, they look at the user experience of not having to deal with Microsoft's and Google's bullshit. The only sane people are those running Linux or BSD.
I'm an instructional designer, with a background in web development, software engineering, and information security. I can tell you with absolute certainty that you can totally identify a person's intelligence by the number of Apple products they own. If they own one, it might be a mistake, but you can forgive it. If they own two, they're beyond hope and are just going to be a problem in your life forever--cut ties with them ASAP and let them get their help from the apple store.
The real reason for high prices is quite simple. It's because of their "Walled Garden" approach. Just let the DOJ open up competition by bringing imessage and stuff over to Android and watch the prices fall! For those of you complaining about high prices and not wanting open competition, you can't have it both ways!
Sam is that one friend who has the annoying habit of beginning a conversation soundly so smart and confident, 😹 that the smartness and confidence ropes you but it all goes down hill and crashing 🤣 as you realize they are starting to spew nonsense.
For prices of flagship of any phone (not only iPhone) is best to buy flagship phone from the last year. Then just controll how long will last security updates on that phone. Google and Samsung have in newest models 7 years, for iPhone it is 6-8.
Having something from apple is like having a gold tooth, a big status symbol. Just that you got screwd over and it's just a lead tooth with gold plating...
