Apple Intelligence Released - What's New? iOS 18.1 beta 1 was released today to registered developers and it gives us a preview of the groundbreaking Apple Intelligence features that are going to change the way that you use your iPhone going forward. In this episode, my intentions are to help you learn most of the new additions to the software that were announced including the new game-changing Siri with context awareness, the writing tools, and call recording that comes to iOS 18. This isn’t Siri 2.0 yet. This is just some of the features of Apple Intelligence. It’s a bit complicated but Apple has said Siri 2.0 is only going to be in Beta early next year.

@@mariodennis6236 bro trust me do research the diffrence between apple ai and android is (apple literally is using ai with its chip its built in ai and faster ofcourse since its built in the OS, amdroid otherwise is using most of it with the internet !! And unsafer than apple ai thats why only the new chip iphones) u get it ?? Its better microsoft literally had to delay their co pilot ai stuff their doin because of apple showcase they did way better job unlike microsoft doin screenshots of all ur data and credit card infos 😂💀💀 just do research u will see what im talkin about. I'm in both Apple's and Samsung's ecosystems and love that they are copying each other on certain things. Samsung is taking heat for copying Apple but Apple just copied Samsung on the colorful edge lighting. LOL! I'm not mad at all - I love that feature. :)

It’s currently half-released, and I think it’ll be better to wait until 18.2. It wouldn’t be a fair comparison since it’s missing a lot of the cool features, like the new Siri.

You're trying to use Siri 2.0 commands which won't be available until 2025. And iOS 18.1 won't be available until at least month after iOS 18.0 is released to the public.

How do get the new Siri after update UPDATE: Click on the intelligence and Siri section, and make sure your Siri voice is set to American, mine was set to Australian accent but it told me I couldn’t have it in there, once you change it there should be an option to enroll in it, takes about 25 minutes for everything to be set up, also it’ll make you redo Siri

Wait for the iPhone 17. That should be a decent upgrade with a fresh new design. iPhone 16 will look and feel like an iPhone 15 but with 3% more power and 4% more efficient. IPhone upgrade cycles are so boring these days. Someone could swap out your iPhone 15 with an iPhone 14 during the night (same colour) and it would be 4 months before you noticed. Iphone is in a desperate need of a visual upgrade at this point. I'm bored of the iPhone 12 design so I'm not upgrading until they release something worth upgrading to.

The Siri glow is the best part of "Apple Intelligence". It may be something worth talking about on iPhone 24, but in typical Apple fashion, it won't be available across their devices and is is lack luster.

I am gutted as I come from Scotland UK. The AI features are sadly not available where I live at present which I don’t understand quite frankly as we Brexit from the EU. FYI, I am very much a European and wanted to stay in the EU. Politics aside though I just really want to experience Apple intelligence. I just think that Apple has become stagnant. We need change! I am a Samsung fan boy, but I can appreciate other phones. Phones are so similar these days and seem to copy each other's hardware and software. To be honest I think it's getting harder to design something different as alot of things have been done.
