Ya when the had the iPhone X that came out 5 years ago.some people did not like the notch and didn’t understand Face ID now with the iPhone 14 pro max out everybody knows how to use it and all the several phone that have succeeded from then.thank Tim for doing this unboxing the iPhone X is my favorite phone from apple because it comes in outstanding colors nice doul camera system and the notch looks very nice to look at and now no Touch ID i know this is a long message but have a good day

Really happy that you are not jumping the gun and doing the review of the phone straight away a lot of channel kinda tries to do that. But the phone loos good but just wish that you got the space grey one, is it just me or does anyone else feel like the silver one is a bit too shinny and that frame kinda looks like that cheap plastic chrome coating or something like that? i make tech contents in my channel, please give them a try if you could share some time. i would appreciate it.

Have any of you guys even used the Pixel 2 XL? All of this news about it has been greatly exaggerated. The screen isn't bad at all. I've had no burn-in, the colors will be more vibrant soon with an update and you don't even notice the blue tint unless you specifically look for it on white screens and look at your phone from a weird angle for some odd reason. So a few people have had some trouble with it, that's no reason to get the pitchforks and torches. The iPhone 8 has had quite a bit of trouble with it's battery swelling and destroying the phone and people are barely talking about that. Literally, the iPhone X is the weakest phone Apple has ever made in terms of build quality. There have already been multiple pictures of the phone after a drop and you're basically going to need a new phone if you drop it without a case 😂 the internal parts get exposed and it's a mess. I can say from experience that the Pixel 2 XL is way more sturdy than any iPhone.

To close the app just swipe up to the middle then force touch it and a minus sign will show up and you can now swipe up to close the app.

Apple has a history of charging British consumers more and the iPhone X is no different. In the US, the standard iPhone X is $999 (£763) and the 256GB version is $1,148 (£878). Apple blames the differences in sales tax and the cost of doing business.

Once upon a time you used to do rooting videos and unlocking bootloader videos and custom ROM videos..... You were an XDA contributor.... But that was a lifetime ago. Qbking77 you should do a separate enthusiast Channel. I know we all have to have one foot in the corporate world.

"Very, very minimal bezels" Actually, they look pretty damn big to me. They're just less noticeable than other phones because they're uniform all the way around (other than the notch).

64 gb is kind of a rip off with all these companies....especially when roughly a 1/6 is taken by the OS. IF you expect to keep this for three years, good luck with that.

The stainless steel has that chrome look and chrome has always come off "cheap" or an eyesore to me. I'll stick with the space grey. I really did want the silver one.

To close apps, you press and hold until a red close button appears on all apps. At this stage you can press the red close button on whichever app or swipe up to close them.

...X-pensive! Confusing with all those finger motion gestures now that the home button is gone... I still think that 3D facial recognition is "iffy"... It will probably take a while when some 3rd-party apps are compatible with the newer technology, but that's as per usual with Apple...

Hi Tim, Great video. I know some people are always wanting a case on their phones no matter what the phone happens to be but I just took my case off my phone a few days ago and i kept going back and forth on which to do because i couldn't just choose ONE case and i honestly have over 30 cases for my iphone x.....ridiculous i know!!!! But i have a glass screen protector on the front, a glass protector on the back and a camera glass protector so i'm all set and pretty well protected so decided to just put a pop socket on the back of my iphone x and go case-less it's awesome!!!

When the screen turns on and you get to the desktop, just meh always that old looking software. Phone looks nice though. But I feel the price is really too expensive. Besides the face ID which I find creepy, what does it have over other phones to justify that price?

Hold on the app for a couple of seconds, and you can close any apps you want with the minus in the corner, just in case you hadn't figured it out!

Thanks for explaining the blinking light. I saw it in another video. I thought Apple finally added a blinking notification light. Thanks for letting us know it’s just the camera picking up what appears to be unseen by the naked eye.
