@@ostrichbi think vickie means, geekerwan did good job adding english subtitles due the content is very educative and in-depth detail about SoC, and it's not commonly found at other channel. So he's wishing they will keep adding english subtitles in the future because how good the content is
I Guess it's because since Geekerwan's English channel uploads videos very late that they decided to add subtitle in the CN videos so that people can watch these while waiting for the ENG release
@@wyattliu3637this channel is awesome, but the only ways to watch it without knowing Chinese is subtitles or Yandex Video Translate. Greetings from Russia 😊.
This is a much better review than many other tech channels that either only state opinions or rephrase the information that Apple has already released.
Interesting tests in here no other techtuber really does, like branch prediction error rate. Interesting to see Intel's ring bus is still by a WIDE margin undefeated, they just need new core architectures and a new node to work off, Meteor Lake should get very interesting. The global world is funny eh. My replacement for Anandtech barely posting on time in depth articles anymore is an overseas channel reading subtitles lol.
Great job! I was particularly pleased to see you test Stable Diffusion performance, as this is one of my primary recreational activities with my M2 Max. A ~30% improvement is nothing to sneeze at, though one can dream of 3x performance improvements (maybe if torch optimization improves please please?). Hopefully SDXL performance increases by a similar amount to base SD. My main problem now, though, is the SSD cost vs. the rate at which I'm filling it up with SDXL generations. I have external storage, but it's cumbersome to use. I really wish Apple would make their memory and SSD upgrades more affordable.
Wow. That is even deeper dive in then we have been used from Anandtech in past. Could you look on claim that some GPU functions perform worse when unplugged. Probably raytracing. Thanks
Wasn’t expecting m3 max & pro this year. Expecting them to meet x-elite next year. With the 50% increase core count of the max, it is finally the max chip to match all the crazy performant i9 and r9 multicore prowess. Not just the battery champ of laptops, now a true mini ultra. Really incredible to have ultra level performance in a portable at 50w. Baseline tdp for intel probably already 45w before turbo boost. Guessing m1 & m2 ultra has just dropped in resale value.
The fact that it speed blitzed through both M1 Ultra and M2 Ultra at nearly half the core counts is mind blowing. Single threaded performance also insane where Intel mobile offering don’t even stand a chance.
