I personally love all of the MacBooks, but lately the past few years, YES they do look really nice, but your taking out a lot of the joy of apple products, like the glowing apple logo, it the ports (e.g. The USB ports, and the sd card slot, MagSafe etc) and a lot of collage students who are trying to find the best deals will have to pay extra on dongles just to get those functions back, which upsets me personally, but I do love the computers, just I wished they added those stuff back

I was sold on gold until I saw it in person; it is much more of a copper color. Space gray just looked okay to me online, but in person it has so much more character that I ended up choosing it.

2018 Macbook AIr: like that old friend who finally gets that make over!

When Apple announced Touch ID, I was a little disappointed. In the same year that Apple finally gets rid of Touch ID in favor of Face ID for both iPhone and iPad, they put it in the MacBook Air. I would have preferred Face ID for the MacBook Air.

This dude was the only reason I got an apple laptop. But then I got an interest in pc gaming . . . .

Not entirely sure what the intended purpose/audience of the Air is now. Considering how close it is in price to the Pro I would just get the Pro every time. Yes the Air is shiner but the Pro is so portable already that shaving a couple millimeters off the thickness won’t make much of an improvement. Would have made more sense if they cheapened the MacBook or just ditched the Air entirely and updated the 12” MacBook line.

MacBook Air is the best value for the money this year, it beats out the regular MacBook and base model MacBook Pro because it has the T2 chip. Expect Apple to make Face ID available on all MacBooks come 2019.

The computers my school gave us for online learning are horrible. I’ve traded mine in twice and even w a new computer it crashes almost every day, DURING CLASS. So my moms agreed to let me get a MacBook Air. I don’t know what generation yet, but I hope I can get something newer.

"I've never been a big fan of magsafe just because I think it comes off way too easily". WTF is this guy smoking? The fact that it detached easily from the Mac was the whole bloody point you plonker, so upon tripping on the cable you don't bring your machine down with you.

Typing in my new 2018 MacBook Air that I got couple hours ago and I love it. I bought the most basic model which is $1199 because I have a tight budget but 128gb SSD is enough for me. I will do it for modern usage and once in a while I will play games on it. EDIT 1: I am NOT Flexing EDIT 2: Should I get the iPad Pro with keyboard and Apple Pencil instead???

Very nice vid comparing this to othe macs! I've seen a ton of videos covering this device as I am a college student considering purcahsing this as an upgrade over my current $300 laptop. None of the videos I've seen has offered this angle of coverage. Very nice vid!

Although this is 2020 I'm still into 2019 MacBook air because it's lightweight, portable, and much sleeker. The only downside is keyboard (which is fixed by apple in 2020 model) otherwise if you don't care much about keyboard this is probably the deal for you. And because this previous year model it is a bit cheaper too.
