I know. How hard is it to take a couple of bags of dried beans, cover them with water in your pot, bring them to a simmer, and then shut off the heat and let them sit all night? Infinitely better beans.

@@sandraolsen6596 I use either. Just depends what I have in the pantry. I soak them overnite in water, then rinse, add cold water, bring to boil and simmer, covered, until soft. Drain, and use in recipes.
I’ve never seen a recipe with apple pie filling in it. So, I decided to try them. Sir, I got so many compliments it had to have been over 100 compliments at a party at my work! Thank you for sharing your recipe and keep up the great work in these videos!
Just so everyone knows.....Make extra. People will take,steal whatever is left in the pot. They are just delicious. I've done fresh peaches, nectarines and apricots. Loads of fun to make with kids. I also use hot sausage. Then dip French bread in it....

Lol! My mom & sister put chopped up green grapes & celery occasionally in their chicken salad! (It’s actually good!) I can’t see raisins in a potato salad either! Smh 🤦🏽♂️. Few weeks ago ate at a BBQ restaurant! Ordered potato salad & kept tasting something off about it! (DIDN’T like it!) Some people need to stick with the normal way things are cooked/put together! I don't understand why people want to make a delicious bean dish so sweet. It can taste good with the best recipe from the west but the simplest eastern savory dish is even better

My mother used to bribe me with this dish she used ground beef though n no apples but she had her own recipe too Soooo Delicious Gawd I miss those days. Her chilli was dope too.
This sounds absolutely amazing. I love baked beans with brown sugar and ketchup mixed in so I’m sure the sweetness from the apple pie filling is amazing
I see all these comments in Sweet Baby Ray’s. Here in the West Coast it is very inexpensive. If I go to Safeway, it’s the lowest price on the shelf. Didn’t use to be. If you do like BBQ sauce it’s a good one. I think they have a plant ite here or something that makes a version with cheaper ingredients. It’s less than $3 at Safeways. Got it for $1.88 at the Mexican market last time.

Clean up this recipe, and it could become both heathy and delicious; eliminate all the added sugars and processed crap, use fresh roasted apples,, some maple syrup and molasses, mustard, sweet peppers, yellow and sweet vidalia onions, apple/pumpkin pie spices etc...
It's delicious but very sweet. The 2nd time I made it, I skipped the brown sugar and used cooked apple slices instead of pie filling and it was still yummy.
