@@thatoneuser5066 Yeah, Steve Jobs liked Scott. Once Tim kicked him out of Apple, I know Tim had a different vision compare to Jobs. I think Apple rushed Scott and his team to finish the iOS 6 but wasn't ready (eg, Maps)
37:59 “This connector is a modern connector for the next decade” He was right, Apple used lightning for exactly 10 years and switched to type c in 2023.
@@TheLootyShow1 You could feel when Steve was trully excited, he actually was, especially first 5 years 2001-2006 when Mac OS X was finally delivered, and future of company was secured after first 3 years of him becoming well established leader of company 1997-2000. He had conversation with the audience. He was actually listeining to what he was saying because he was listening reaction of the audience. 2001-2006 era of "digital hub" in 2006-2011 was era of creating ecosystem of devices. Lastly he presented iCloud. Tim dont even use their products. Not to mention being able have conversation.
The best iPhone to date. 2012 was a major year for Apple. So much product and software change that year. Also think the iPhone 6 keynote was packed with new product and software changes as well with Apple Pay ect...
The difference between his presentation and Steve's is the delivery. Steve presented like a dialogue with the audience; Tim presented it like a typical speech.
Good Morning!!! Good morning! Good morning...good morning Thank you...thank you, thank you, thank you...Thank you for coming this morning! (Best intro ever)
didnt expect to find one of the most intimate performances by my favorite band at an apple keynote! what a great surprise! just goes to show what a great company apple is. they truly have art and vision in their hearts. which so aligns with being a musician and it makes sense they would ask foo fighters to perform. to me it feels like Dave Grohl and Steve Jobs went through similar paths in life. falling from the highest point in their life to a low one and having the passion and vision to form a new path, a better path, a path of their own. i find it extremely emotional and inspiring.
To be fair Steve loved his statistics too, just look at the other keynotes. Tim is definitely trying to emulate Steve's ability to wow the crowd, my suspicion is that Steve had these presentations down to a science which he probably taught to Tim before he passed away to keep Apple's uniqueness going.
Apple products have literally given hundreds of thousands of people tools to do their jobs better... not too mention they set trends on nearly everything tech related, down to their packaging, so yeah, id say they did change the world quite a bit.
I really appreciate mankind's fast improvement in mobile technologies. I love using Apple products, but I really wish that we could solve our bigger problems first such as world hunger and poverty. I wish we could allocate these bright minds into solving these problems.
You did play my game. I needed facts on how I could put doubts in you they didnt work proves your personality and well. I got all thes comments to show it it will be annonymous so dont worry.
And the things that matter the most are how a phone runs and what the Apps are like. There's no doubt the App store is still the most popular store for consumers and devs. That's the main reason I'd get the iPhone 5.
good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for coming this morning. I still like him though
Panorama explanation: Once the iPhone was finished taking the first picture with the woman in it, she ran behind the cameraman and over to the right side. Then the iPhone kept panning right and taking photos.
iPod touch stole the show. I'm really wanting to sell my iPod touch 4g but i got it from my parents last year and my dad worked hard on the money to play for it.
at last new iPod touch was released....................... apple has the ability to deliver amazing quality products............. i'm not comparing but android has almost twice the power but not even 1/10th of the beauty and quality that apple is delivering
the new connector is going to be such an inconvenience, sure they had to come out with a new one sooner or later but it will be an huge hassle for quite some time
I dont know what everybody is crying about... some people like iphone, some people like the android phones such as samsung, htc.. etc.. First of all, the new iphone5 looks great.. great design.. great hardware and great operative.. the ios 6 looks really good, and i think it will work absolutly fantastic with the new iphone. what do you want more from it.. to fly??? ore sing you a song when youre sad? some people like pizza.. some burgers. I love the new iphone :D
Stereotyping is really a form of categorization, and it is trying to know the world through these seemingly well defined, clean cut categories that leads to misunderstanding of it's true essence. New perceptions try to simply fit the mold of past experiences, instead of taking the present moment for it's newness and authenticity. Just thought you should know that :D
I own an iPod touch on iOS5 and an android phone on gingerbread, the phone is rooted and has a load of tweaks and customisations. Somewhere along the line, I realised that I still enjoy using my iPod touch far more than my phone. iOS always feels polished, apps always just work and always look great. Android doesn't provide that for me. I don't want the greatest number of features in my pockets, I want a device I enjoy using. That's what fanboys on any side fail to consider, it aint a number war
I love it when they say that Mac significantly outgrows the PC, but they compare their sales to those of Dell, IBM and Acer, or something, companies that sell very small numbers of PCs. PC users build their own stuff, because they are smart, so when you compare your numbers, compare them to the number of actual PC users in the world. I know hundreds of people, and out of those literally 2, just TWO, use a mac. And they have a PC as well.
Agreed! I wish people were more open minded. I will be switching to the iphone 5 tomorrow (yay!) after my HTC. There are things I didn't wish to give up on the droid but there are things on the iphone that I'd love to have (when the droid doesn't), I much prefer the design of the iphone, and I feel like it's suited to my needs better than a droid. There are pros and cons to each side :)
Now that my 2 yr. contract is up I'm Transitioning from HTC Incredible to iPhone5... will definitely miss my Android;even though I've never owned an iPhone, I've always been a fan of Apple and its innovative products. Can't wait! Gotta love keynotes :)
Can't wait for this till Christmas! I will be leaving to basic training for the army in a week so i have to wait for these beauties! (: Great job apple! It is so sad not seeing Steve Jobs do his thing no more. R.I.P you great man. note to the haters: quit bitching if you saw the whole video.
People need to stop hating on this. If you don't like the dam phone shut up and get another phone. No need to bash something just because they got a few statistics incorrect. Like back off the phone is amazing and I don't know how anyone could ever hate it.
One thing Apple doesn't need now is telling everyone how big they are. They've gone from an underdog to a scary giant over this 5 years. Over 90% of web-browsing on iOS devices? That spells monopoly to me.
