Thank you - my S2 that I bought in 2017, is still going strong and proves that fives years plus is doable if you buy them new. But I do wonder about replacing it at some point - if I do, then I will go with the larger screened SE, which seems good value for money.

I was having a really difficult time choosing between the two and most of what I like about the 7 is more appearance related & since the only thing I can’t get on the SE that’s important to me (slightly more screen real estate) I think I’ll go with the SE and spend some of the $ saved on extra, cute bands! I got the series 3 when the series 4 came out I’m really surprised where on the series 7 and there still optioning it out I recently upgrade to the se however and I really don’t see a big difference. Really glad I didn’t get the series 7

Series 7 have somewhat, that you can’t forgotten to tell. Apart of hand written messages, voice control also have gestures controls and- when you not wear it is hibernating it self so not consuming power.

So far had the series 6 gps model Apple Watch but sold it and kept my se cellular watch cause that always on display is annoying

I’ve been using a SE for over 3 years and it’s been amazing, sleep tracking is a great feature. It’s always been fast and never really had any problems! I work in healthcare so if I ever want to get a ECG or take my blood oxygen at work I can. I find tracking my heart rate Is good enough for me! I have been throwing around the idea of getting the battery replaced as it’s not the best but could be worse! I’m at 87% battery states of health atm. Overall love my little watch!

What are the work out starts like in the app compared to fitbit app ?

What does the ECG app offer that the Irregular heart rhythm notification doesn't?

I’m so torn between the two, I only need a Apple Watch since I’m not able to use my phone at work I’m leaning for the SE but I want to have it for a long time and don’t want it to be slow… aggg . Help

I got a series 5 right when it came out because my dream was to have one. Keeping in mind I was very big on the medical aspects the watch had only to be severely disappointed my age prevented me from using them so literally had the watch only for call, music, messages and locating my phone. I also got my brother and mother the series 3 watch a couple after I got mine because they didn’t care about any of the features the 5 had they wanted to do what I did so the series 3 was enough for them. Fast forward to now almost 3 years, my mom cracked my brother’s watch and she gave him hers. I had mine but still the age is an issue so I told my mom I would get her a series 7 use my watch as a trade in and I go for an SE. Best choice, even though I’m a tech nut who loves the newest version, I’m still happy with it. My mom only wanted to upgrade due to the fact of the ECG and stuff cause recently her doctor wanted her to monitor it. My mom has other medical machines to check but she wanted an alway on thing to see if she where she is averaging. I can see my mom is so happy with it and I’m happy with mine it. If the health benefits are not what you are looking for totally SE is it but if you more on the health concern the 7 is great. I also got to say even though the SE is a bit smaller screen wise it is way bigger than my 5 and I got the same size, at least that’s how I see them and even compared them.

If you're getting cellular on watch and have ultrawide band (that's what they call it with Verizon not sure about other carriers) then the 7 might be whats best. if you aren't getting cellular overall I would recommend the SE.

My Apple Watch 3 just died after 4 years. This video was very helpful in helping me choose the next watch. As I’m older I want the special features the 7 has. Thanks

Thank you for the detailed information. I like SE more but features I am confused about- 1. 7 is crack proof n dust resistant ( I am clumsy probably need this) 2. Less charging time in 7. 3. 7 will probably get more updates. Still thinking whether these features are worth the extra price? 🤔

In regards to the always on display on the 7, if your wrist is tattoo’d this won’t work so you’ll miss a lot of notifications, the ecg and blood oxygen can’t be used, and if you’re doing a workout it pauses the workout whenever it detects the watch isn’t on your wrist. You can turn off wrist detection and it will keep the display on but you can’t use the sleep tracking without wrist detection. I was pretty shocked when apple told me my tattoos are the reason my display won’t stay on but then I checked google and it’s legit.

I was going to go with the SE but turns out the 7 went on sale for 18% off at Target so I ended up buying that instead. I won't be upgrading for awhile so I'm glad that's it's future proof for now.

I’m using my series 4 and my battery just started acting up. I’m now getting 12hrs or less daily. I know it’s not the end of the world but, it’s a huge inconvenience for me. This video was perfect and helped me make a decision. Thank You!!

You just did an outstanding review! I totally appreciate it!!! I was wanting to get a 7, but the one I want is $899.00. I was probably not going to get one for this reason. Even though it is a mini computer it is too steep for a watch for me. However, the basic things that I want are in an SE which I have learned from you, so I am very grateful. I have the 6 had it since march 2021 I can not complain similar Watch then the 7 just the screen size is different I had the se but I upgraded to the 6. I’m happy

I just bought the 44mm SE yesterday at Apple Store. Owned a S6 40mm which I regretted buying. Didn’t use the extra functions much and I don’t even turn on Always On Display. The silver case with Pride band2022 looks awesome!

Great review! I watched it AFTER ordering my watch SE style ;) So glad I feel I made the right choice. With t-mobile - adding a watch line - the promo they give you is 50% off in the form of bill credits over 2 years- so I will pay $6.87 a month for 2 years. Brings this down to $165 total. I am going from a wifi/gps version to a data version. Exciting for me! Also, if they ever come out with the blood glucose sensor in watch 8 or 9, I won't feel too bad about spending $ on this one. :)

Just got the SE for my 13 pro. The battery life is amazing. A full charge lasts me all day and I can rest easy leaving my phone at home now knowing I have it right on my wrist!

Cool vid as usual! 🙌 I actually traded-in my 40mm S6 for the 45mm LTE S7 for two reasons: (1) I've always had the smaller version, because, price. Now I wanted the larger version, because, vision; and (2) wanted to try the LTE version.

the swype keyboard and the faster charge time/on time sold me. i got the 7.

Upgraded my SE to the Series 7 in midnight. So worth it, the curve of the watch is much more sleek, it lays more flush on your wrist is is much more comfortable to wear. Not to mention the extras that aren’t available for the SE.

Had the SE for three months and it’s always frozen and rebooting. Brought it to apple they claimed nothing was wrong after running some test. I got fed up and just ordered the series 7😭.

Its just bs that the series 5,&6 & SE 44MM did not get the keyboard in texting when the 41mm 7 apple watch did. Especially since the series 6 & 7 both have the same chipset of the S6. Then the 5 & SE have an S5 chipset. Then they took the 3rd party keyboard support away when those apps already had full keyboard support now they don’t work.

Since I am going to use my Apple Watch for the next 4-5 years I went all in to the series 7 stainless steel and leather link and two other bands, solo loop and Nike sport loop

I love having the cellular SE. I think always having a phone on your wrist is great for safety.
