I don’t even know why people would think it would be real. A squared off boxy device on your body for long periods of time is very uncomfortable. Even if it was a product it wouldn’t sell well.
I feel like design for tech has plateued.. and companies should just wait a year or two before launching another product.. we don't need product launches for the same phone every year. Like the macs, apple watches, and phones.

I have 3 theories. 1. So yes ik iPhone X means iPhone 10 but it’s possible we could just be getting a Apple Watch *Series 10* this year, and a Apple Watch *X* with the redesign next year for its anniversary, as the apple watch RELEASED in 2015 (it kinda has 2 birthdays in a way as it was announced in 2014 but released in 2015) so thats a possibility. 2. This could be the equivalent to the iPhone 8 back in 2017 that launched alongside the iPhone X, giving people the option to still buy a device with new hardware but the old design, and we also get a redesigned Apple Watch X to sell along side this, ig u could call it Series 10, i’m not sure what they’d call it, and ig we would get a Ultra 3 for hardcore people who need the ruggedness or whatever. 3. Apple isn’t doing anything for the anniversary and we’re just gonna get the same old updates, which in that case i’m keeping my Series 7, just gonna have to get a battery replacement.
glad im not tempted to upgrade from my series 9, had a feeling the series 10 probably won't be the upgrade ppl thought. based on the CADS tho im not sure why watch bands wouldn't be cross compatible
On the brightside, I will gladly take a 42mm series X with largely reduced bezels considering im on a 40mm S6. That is still tastefully large. The rumoured 45mm was just ridiculous.
I think right around the time all the leaks were wrong. About the Apple watch 7, there was also a big swing and a mist from a leaker on a Mac release. I forget the exact details

I don't have much faith in the rumor that Apple will replace the 2 sizes with the one 49mm Series X. That's basically cutting off a chunk of your customer base. I could see them adding a 3rd size option, that actually makes sense.
That rumor has already been debunked, as it was due to a misreporting of the diagonal length of the screen conflated with the size of the watch which is denoted by the height of the case. The diagonal is 49mm, but the height of the case is 46 so it will be sold as a 46mm watch.
All i need is a good feature like glucose monitoring or mainly a blood pressure sensor and any improvement with the 18 hour "all day battery" for me to be sold. Anything worse than that is just meh for me.
I hope they are wrong. The rounded edges make the Apple Watch a bit less likely to catch anything like clothing or snag behind things… I have a series 4, 40mm so I want to upgrade. I hope the smaller size of the Apple watch X isn’t too big 🤞🏻
The bigger the screen gets and they keep the watch band connection, the higher the corner radius is going to be. Seems like we’re slowly moving more and more towards a circular Apple Watch.
As a series 4, 41mm user, if both sizes end up being bigger, then it kinda puts me off apple watch entirely. I might be swayed if it were thinner, or maybe the extra battery enabled some kind of Apple Intelligence features.. but tbh it’s a stretch.
Wish they leaned into buttons like Garmin and made a circular watch. I mean, there has not been a major update (my opinion) since Series 4. Sure they added Blood Oxygen sensor but it is medically not accurate and they stole the technology (not bashing Apple but honestly am unimpressed with their lack of innovation the past many years). I mean honestly, if the battery life is the same as the ultra and i just get it in sapphire glass, its a worthwhile upgrade. While sure the square design would be cool, honestly the tech has soooo peaked that battery life and screen are the only things that can improve(increase). I honestly didnt care about Apple Watches at all this yr since i didn’t see any rumor that sounded upgrade worthy. But a bigger watch and (hopefully) a bigger battery to go with it is all i could ask for.
The reason Min Qi Khuo is usually correct is he has source and connections to the supply chain that most leakers do not. Balance of probability is that its an incremental upgrade as usual
My prediction (definitely going to wrong tho) is that the watch band connector won’t be magnetic it will be the old style. Just like how the ultra and 45mm now support the same watch band size, there will only be one watch band size moving foreard
I have noticed this too. Every time there is a rumor about changes in dimensions or bezels they tend to be wrong bc the measurements are comparing apples to oranges. 😂
I just want bigger battery life and I want the ability to use my Apple Watch without having to sync it with my iPhone be able to set it up download software and do everything without the iPhone if I don’t have the cellular data version and I also want a camera a small camera on the Apple Watch so I can do video calling if I want to and I want the Apple Watch to be able to have more waterproofing so I can go farther underwater just like the ultra and I also want satellite texting and stuff like the iPhone has and I would love to see an Apple Watch that’s made out of carbon fiber or like a rugged plastic version so it could be cheaper and I want to get rid of the scroll will
I don’t agree with this assessment at all - I believe that the Apple Watch has plenty of room to grow and improve in the coming years. That does not mean that the Watch has significant changes every year and perhaps Apple should change the release schedule for the Watch to every two years vs one, as the current release schedule forces Apple to come up with made-up improvements to justify the new release, which prompts videos like this one
Boxy is not comfortable. The human body is not boxy, so for comfort a wearable should also not be. The design like it is now, is I think the best for the Apple Watch. Same for a round design: doesn't work. Where are you gonna leave complications? How are you gonna read text without having to scroll for each line of sentence? Just because we're bored with the same form factor for already 10 years, doesn't mean we're bored with the functionality.

Software aside, it’s not worth having anything better than the series 4 or 5. I have a series 7 just because someone was selling it for dirt cheap (in the used s4 price range), probably not aware of its actual worth.
It's cuz he isn't reinventing himself. He got comfortable and doesn't want to invest into different types of videos. He only does these cuz they're basically free to make.
apple watch has been perfect for me as is for years now. I only need more battery than " All-day 18 hours battery life " and that's it. no one needs more sensors, features nor brighter screen and surely no more retarded crap like hand wash reminder and that silly finger tap thing. and Snoopy watch faces. my God Snoopy watch faces
