APR open intake is insane!!! 

Who knows, it might. I buy intakes for sound and always will. The biggest improvement to the turbos spool speed are actually the downpipe and cat back. Inlet, outlet, charge pipes, intercooler (can actually hurt spool speed based on style of intercooler) all in my opinion did more than any of the intakes I've ran up until now. The most interesting thing about 034 making this claim is their good intakes are stock box mods that rake the customers over the coals. You can just buy an inlet, elbow, a new filter, and break out the snow guard on the stock box and get better performance than 034 offers for hundreds of dollars less investment. 034 does make a very low resistance intake hose though!

You do need the SAI filter. The APR solution is actually really cheap but there are other SAI filters from other brands as well. Mine is hidden under the Intake and it is zip tied out of the way to one of the intake mounting points.

Its a forge BOV. Stock DV will sound muffled from the intake filter but probably be just as loud.

@@camerongullion9095 are you running yellow or blue spring on forge bov? Just installed mine with blue spring on stage 1 mk7 gti

Blue is good for stage 1 and 2 unless you are peaking high. Some tunes peak around 28 psi and that is getting close to cause the blue spring to leak. Im running 91 because I live in Colorado and APR doesnt have corn tunes for the EA888 G3 (Yet). My peak is really only 25.5 PSI at this elevation as well. There are people at sea level with mods comperable to mine peaking at 28 PSI on 93.

@@camerongullion9095 I was just talking to jr14 he runs the blue spring which is most aggressive one & he’s on big turbo running almost 30 pounds

@@mk6_mark920 This is a loose recommendation on springs from ECS tuning on their product page for the spring tuning kit. The blue spring is the more aggressive spring that comes with the BOV but there is a red spring meant for higher boosting cars. I wouldnt run this valve if I were making 30+ PSI though. You would really want to be running a valve tuned specifically for the hybrid turbo. Green - 5-15 PSI Yellow - 15-23 PSI Blue - 23-30 PSI Red - 30 + PSI

It makes every induction note very present even with the radio to half volume. Sounds great, well worth the investment.

In my s3 if I have the windows up I can’t hear anything. Window cracked and I can hear it perfect. Audi must have good sound deadening.

Have you had any issues from that ? I have warranty on my s3 and looking to get this without voiding it, sounds sick af

@@_NB233 as long as you don’t touch the cat, flash the ecu or the tcu, then you shouldn’t have to worry about your warranty
