Just found your channel, really liked this video, gave you a sub :). I found a Dubia on eBay today and was debating on buying it, then saw your video and that was the sign I needed! Greetings from Germany!
Amazing plant haul! I am a huge Calathea lover. So I ran into a discussion online about the “Calathea” you have and apparently it’s actually a type of Ginger plant called Kaempferia elegans. So bizarre! I have a Calathea Makoyana and it is very different (it’s featured in my winter houseplant tour video) . It’s leaves have a pattern similar to the Calathea lancifolia. Just thought I’d share that random insight coz it was perplexing me haha. Happy growing! 🌿✌️
Hiya .... For cactus sun is essential. Water less if indoors any temperature over 28 degree C you can water the plant more often but best way is to water it it once the potting media is dried out. As Euphorbias are not cactus they are succulents but not cactus. They can be thorny and poisonous so be aware as you got a pet in your house. Happy gardening 😀
Samthurium thank you! And I’m a little confused and want to make sure I understand. Are you saying the Calathea Makoyana is or is not called the Peacock Plant?
@@plantmyhappyspace3477 I've always heard that the makoyana's common name is "peacock calathea". But common names as I'm sure you know are usually misleading and can apply to multiple different plants. So I thought yours was unlike any other peacock calathea I'd ever seen! Lol I couldn't find much about the species of yours though. Its gorgeous though. Almost looks like it's checkered. =)
@@plantmyhappyspace3477 I freakn love philodendron, calatheas and pothos (which do you even own lol?) I never saw this freakn white wizard before, now I need it!!
Jenna M 😂😂😂 yes believe it or not, I do have a few pothos. They’re tried a true! And the White Wizard also has some cousins called the White Knight and White Princess. The White Princess is very similar but it has pink stems!
@@plantmyhappyspace3477 omg please dont tell me this lol, it's bad enough every time I watch your videos I add another to my wishlist list lol, but thank you;) I will have to check them out!
@@plantmyhappyspace3477 I ordered plants from New Life Tropicals. Did the whole process. My order has been paid in full. This was back on May 4, 2020. I just learned that the airports are closed. I'm not sure when I will get them.
I wanted to order from Laksa but I just thought that they were expensive. They wanted $90 for an aglaonema. So I’m going to pass. Especially with all those bug problems lol I ordered from Greenspacesid but then quarantined happened so I have to wait to get my order. I hope mine comes okay.
The Potted Couple all these companies are hit or miss. I had a perfect experience with Greenspaces.id but some people experience dead plants or bugs with them. So I wouldn't completely write off Laksa Plants Sellers due to the bugs. Many other RU-vidrs received perfect plants! As for the money, TRUST ME, I get it lol. I definitely spent way too much. But I had to feed my addiction!
Plant My Happy Space yeah although I noticed that some people with Greenspacesid problems ordered plants in the dead of winter. Which I have definitely done before, but is not completely the companies fault. Yeah I’ll pass on Laksa just bc of the price, I feel like I can get more elsewhere. But I’m glad urs were ok.
tammy murphy I got mine from an Etsy page called NJeastcoastsucculent. They should still have some available! The spider is long gone and good riddance. 👿
That begonia looks like an angel wing begonia, beautiful! Nicki at plant, pots &whatnots uses tongs as well.😊 Even though alocasias like moisture, they like a more airy mix? I can relate I placed an order from hirts.com, and I heard of so many bad reviews for them, but they had a rare orchid that has been on my wishlist for a while. When I got it I was so pleasantly surprised. I filmed the unboxing. I am jealous of your anthurium collection, I’m yet to get one.🤩
HousePlants,Orchids&More Yes, Begonia 'Fannie Moser' is a type of angel wing begonia. And yes in my experience alocasias like a more airy mix. I will explain why more in a care video I'm putting together!
