Regarding Nicole's deliciousa, my came from a cutting in the trash taken 4 years ago. I live in Canada. The fenestrations and leaves have gotten huge by growing infront of a floor to cieling, north/west corner window, even when pulled back. I wonder what the issue is.
I really appreciate this video, the majority of my cover pots are white/cream/neutral. It makes the plants standout against white walls! LOVE the one at 6:10
I have had Marantas get brown tips if the soil dries all the way. The roots cannot tolerate chemical fertilizer or even water that is very hard. I use reverse osmosis water or even distilled water. They love worm castings in the soil and will grow happily with it. I would not use any other on them.
Hi! Thanks for the inspiration! Wanted some advice: I followed your demonstration exactly including the 511- my pot now has air bubbles after one water. Why did this happen?
Is it safe for the plant for me to put that sealant on the inside of the pot? I want to use spray paint on the outside of my pots and am wondering if I should put the sealant on the inside as a protective layer between the spray paint and the plant. Is that necessary or do you think the spray paint on the outside is safe and won’t affect my plants health?
Thank you for this. I too have found this to be the only helpful video. You have helped me greatly with this info. I agreee totally with @lemonan5244 So true.. No one gives specific details
I give mine organic worm tea and they LOVE it!!! I also keep all of mine at about 60% humidity except on days it rains (i live in TN) then we get up to around 65%-70%
This was helpful. Could you do other plant care videos? Right now I only keep non-toxic plants due to having a oral sensory child. New plant mom and trying to absorb everything I can
I heard another plant pro recommend “Easypeasy” liquid organic fertilizer. I’m on my third bottle and my PLANTS and I LOVE IT !!!!! Available on Amazon.
Great video. I'm interested in changing my water. We've had our tap water tested and have excellent water. We had a salesman actually not sell us something because our water is so good. My calathea are all doing very well on tap water. I've also "rescued" some from big box stores, getting them half off. Which were grown in only coconut husk. I repot within a few days and so far I have had great luck. Maybe I'm just lucky?
I just found this channel, love the plant videos and this product review. I subscribed, then saw no posts for almost 2yrs... anyone know why this wonderful, plant lady stopped posting? Just checked Instagram... last post was Dec 18,2020, and post on Dec 8 says she is working on video with her sister.
Wow I really appreciated the clarity and specific pain points and how you use each filter. And come through with the variety. The first one is so cute! lol. Also love the tee 🙂 I keep seeing in Amazon reviews mentioning a white powder buildup from minerals, from hard water. Can you share anything about these Demineralization Cartriges? Looks like Amazon's top seller is from Homedics for $17. Is the white mineral buildup that serious? I've been using 3 essential oil diffusers in different "zones" or "gardens" in my home lol. But I'm ready to big-girl it, and get a humidifier. I think we have pretty hard water, but I am not buying gallons of distilled water every week, even for my plant babies.
lol this is realll late to add but i have only 2 prayer plants in my collection, and have never had any problems with them. I was so worried abt how fussy they were but i found out real quick that they love distilled water and will let you know when to water. the moment the leaves curl, i wait a day and water, like i drench it lol. i love these plants
