In this recap video I’ll share some of what I’ve been up to this past month, including READERS STUDIO. Find my deck, An Arboreal Ogam: www.makeplayingcards.com/sell... Read my book reviews: / laura app.thestorygraph.com/profile...
I am aware that my camera did something funny here and that this video's resolution is not very good. I am *not* looking for unsolicited tech suggestions or comments pointing out the obvious, thanks!
My dear Laura, spending time with you in tarotland was beyond amazing….. and fun….. and such an expansive learning experience and has reinvigorated my tarot practice incredibly!!!! Here’s to next year…. May we meet again at RS25!
So glad to hear Readers Studio went well for you and how inspired you're feeling! What an amazing opportunity and the way they structure it, as a mix of reading for self/others, the opening/closing reading to incorporate new skills, all sounds so good. I have both the Magical Nature Tarot and Inner Ecology Oracle and really enjoy both of them, I'd love to hear how you find them whenever it's right to add them to your collection. Here's to a good May!
Glad you got to see the eclipse though not as planned. I'm about the same distance from totality here in NYC but I also watched with my brothers. Which was cool succe we don't all live in the same state anymore. Readers Studio sounds cool. I've only heard of the tarot conference in the PNW. Maybe I'll go next year.
Yeah, if you can get to NYC for Readers it's totally worth going! 💚 I had a great time. The folks who are running it now, they just took it over from Ruth & Wald Amberstone who've been running it for many years. The new organizers also organize the one in the PNW as well as one in Texas which I'd never heard of! ...now I just gotta find out if they want to take on Toronto because that'd be way closer for me! 🤣
The Readers Studio sounds so amazing! I would be very nervous about reading for others as I only read for myself and a very few family members and friends. Hearing your excitment was really fun to listen to. They classes you described sounded amazing. Being around people who love tarot and love to talk tarot would be so much fun. I did not get to see the eclipse, life got in the way of me traveling to see it. I'm glad you got to experience it in some way and that it is still energizing you. I would love to here how your Marsielle May goes and your thoughts on Robert M. Place's book. It's one that has been on my wish list.
💚 Oh I'll share. It'll be a while before I get to Place's book, but having read his other one I have no doubt it's excellent. Marseille May is great so far! I feel like I could end up being really an equally enthused Marseille and RWS person ultimately. I've been leaning pips lately, but Readers rejuvenated my RWS enthusiasm which is my first and best known system.
Not your partner having a whole outing with his homeboy, while you were at jury duty! 😭😭😭 Lol I'm glad you were still able to have a great experience with the eclipse. 🥰 Love how you describe your experience after the conference. It's the same way I feel about academic conferences. Productive gatherings are the most successful when folks leave feeling ready to tackle their craft! 💪🏽😤 Here's to the summer months ahead! 🥂
💚 Honestly, I'm happy for them to have outings. This weekend homeboy's been invited on our date night! 🤣 It has been years since I've been to an academic conference but I do love that energy of shared enthusiasm (when it's positive and not competitive/weird). Here's to summer! 🥂
It's so lovely to hear how well you're doing. Readers studio joy, connections, your studies and that increased zest for tarot all sound so nourishing. Here's to more months like it my dear
