Lol lmfao at Lars...oooh I dont want to disturb it [bee] and yet you just stuck your finger...i was thinking the exact same thing like a half second b4 you said it🤣😃🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
I had not yet seen this video, love all the Spring flowers. " Plant hoarder" Lars made me laugh ! I think it's great you love all of your plants! Love your channel!
Hello, I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I'm just overwhelmed by your wonderful garden. I also love Denmark that I visited so many times in my life. Thank you for the lot of helpful and interesting instructions. I'm looking forward to next month.
Thank YOU for subscribing and for watching... and for loving our little country 🥰. On behalf of all Danes, thank you :) haha Hope you're having a great week! Greetings from us.
LOVE your gorgeous rosemary! I hope mine gets that big. Honestly, I could have watched for twice as long, the garden is filled with interest and Lars' seed trays are of interest to me too (I would have been happy to see all of them, lol) because I like to learn what these things look like at different stages. Thank you for another great video, your garden looks FAB! ^^
Hi guys!! Glad to see you made it back home safely! I haven't been on youtube for a few weeks; busy with my garden and seedlings! So glad to see you guys! I too watch Claus Darby, so totally got what you said, lol. Everything looks great! Always so fun to watch Lars' excitement as he points out what's popping out. Guess what? My seedling for the Clary Sage, I think you called it Salvia, is coming up. I can't wait to see her in my garden. You guys have made it in my garden! ok, well have a great day and get those violas planted, lol!
SO glad we made it in your garden 💚. You’re going to love that Salvia viridis - it’s a non-stop showstopper 🥰 We did get the violas all in …finally. Ha ha Have a great week ahead! Big hello from 🇩🇰
Thanks guys for the tour and for sharing the sunshine. Your tulips are lovely as is the rest of your garden ❤ Lots of plants to enjoy. It's so nice to see the perennials awaking with all the year ahead 😊
Hey Lovebirds love your videos as well you know!!! Lars you said you love yellow. Have you tried phlomis/ Turkish sage. I call it the turban plant! It's fantastic and in winter in the frost and snow the seed heads make me think of King Lear. Pretentious, moi? Loads of love from Vlad, Glasgow xxxxxxx
Hiya, Vlad! We do grow phlomis... it's just not out yet. Lars has a purple one at work... we need to get that one in our garden, too. And now we'll always think of them as King Lears out in the snow 🤣
We've trimmed this one back a few times... but it's just so happy here. haha. And I kinda don't mind the wildness to it. The bees love it when it flowers, too.
Lars's passion for seedlings is contagious and his knowledge helped me through the winter when I was overwhelmed with my seedlings. Thank you! Just potted the babies in the garden after hardening them off. Will be a delight to see your garden evolve over the summer.
Thank you for appreciating the names on the screen :) I figured since we know most of them only in Danish, it's only fair. That Grape Ice is really pretty, right? We'll leave them in the ground here -- same with our tulips.
Looking good guys. Can't wsit until your garden shows off again. My little insect garden in Herning isn't as far as yours. Please tell abort your open house so we can support you.
He did. Bless his little heart. He’s just getting too tall for that little one. He even helped us move it out and give it to some neighbor kids: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D14L0ik3VzM.html
@@perennial-garden I guess all things considered your growing season is considered relatively short. It's still low 90s here in TX but the mornings and nights are cool now. I think your parents got a pretty heavy rainy season. Atleast that's what I heard was the case throughout Georgia. Always good news especially in hot areas where it's really needed.
@@mapndo2337 They sure did! Which is welcome with the heat... but then everything just gets so humid after. So.. a blessing and curse ;) It's autumn here officially... altho today is warm at 60F! I don't mind the cold... it's the short days that really get to you around here.
Hello! Such a beautiful garden tour, guys. I really enjoy the free-growing look of your amazing garden space.... and those tulips.. the wait was well worth it. I join you in your contagious excitement for spring and the full glory that comes with the new growing season. It's so enjoyable to see fellow garden enthusiasts/professionals see their planning come to complete fruition. Wonderful... As always great stuff. Additionally thank you for the kind words about joining Insta. Great to be a part of the community. Until next time... have a blessed day.
THANKS so much for your kind words and encouragement! We agree that the tulip-waiting-period was worth it -- they're gorgeous. We're very blessed this season... and we're looking forward to what else is hiding under the earth ready to pop up :)
Beautiful. I on't envy you with those trays of bursting seedlings to prick ouy! i have just pricked out ba half tray of campsnula, oh my over 200 plants. it tok ages. I hope they all do well and go on to make nice big strong plants after all my effots to save every one, ha ha. Hapy gardening, guys 🙂
Wow so beautiful garden you have lots of varieties of perennials how I wish I can plant tulips, I tried but as soon the buds come out the deer love to eat them. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden. Love from Washington State 👍❤️🙏😊🌷
Hippie! You're back on the screen and what a show❤. Lars enthusiasm is contagious makes me be a better gardener! My tulips didn't come out so well as yours in the pot😂 but the Winter sown plants was a success! Mange Tak!!
Great that the winter-sowing has worked out, Gloria! I'm sure they'll grow into gorgeous flowers for you. And I agree.. his enthusiasm is contagious :)
I love how Lars found the digitalis sprout and knew exactly what it was. I have a hard time identifying young sprouts. I hope I am able to tell one day like him. As always thank you for your videos. I get such joy from seeing your gorgeous space. One of my favorite flowers is bleeding heart but I cannot grow it because the full sun and summer heat in my garden takes it out. It’s always a joy to see it.
Your garden is looking wonderful and I love your Tulips. I recognise a lot of your plants as I have the same things. We've had a lovely day today with lots of sunshine so I too have been busy in the garden all day. Just watered my seedlings and noticed they need pricking out. Us gardeners are always busy!
So true! With all of the seed starting and then moving them on... it's a full time job :) Glad you had some sunshine to enjoy your garden and get a few projects done. Hope we both get some more the rest of this week!
This is a good inspiration, thank you for the garden tour. How did you get the metal edges on your raised beds to get rusty so well. Great idea for slug repellant
Thanks for watching! Those metal edges are from a supplier here in Denmark - and they are unfinished, so they rust really quickly. It's the reason we went with those... we knew the rust would help keep the snails and slugs away. Here is where we got ours: havehandel.dk/produkt/sneglekant-til-palleramme-komplet-saet/ (in Denmark, of course)
Your garden is looking fantastic. I love your enthusiasm and how much you enjoy the garden. I love my garden and I hope we have nice sunshine for the summer here in Scotland
Thank you for the tour absolutely loved it. Here in Alberta Canada not too much has emerged yet so it was lovely to see all your colours. Waiting anxiously to see my tulips and daffodils appear.
I don’t need the garden sight, I was telling my wife, “I could just close my eyes and listen to these two and relax, enjoying the banter and love”. She just snorted at me. How rude😂😂😂😂
Hope our neighbors feel the same way about our banter. haha ((but thank you for the very kind words!)) How are things at your end? I guess autumn is coming now and the garden is slowing down.
