Everything in this review is bang on, from shots of riding/talking balance to the subtle background music to the comedic, yet informative narration. Every motorcycle outlet (looking at you MCN uk) should learn from this.
Man.... dammmmmmmed.. The best comments over a bike video I ever seen!!!! Cheers mate!!! Nice one! The video who made difference on my new acquisition!
Hi Boris, great video as usual. I had the pleasure of taking this out for a test ride two weeks ago and my only complaint? The freaking seat height!! I'm a short guy (163cm) and the ballerina stance I had to employ at the lights or at stand still was not confidence inspiring in any way. Sort of like your opinion & fear on deploying the side stand. It's a freaking joke. the Tuono is a bloody brilliant bike in every sense and your right on the money about it turning your license into a disposable commodity. if you can tell the people at Aprilia they stuffed up in making the seat too f'in high that would be great.
Classic review!! just bought one and it's all Boris says plus more. Insane sound and power delivery. Test rode a Brutale and a BMW S1000R , they do not compare, I really don't see how you can have more fun for less money. in track mode it really is a missile, and even with the electronics on it lifts the front in the first 3 gears in no effort. fuel economy is pretty poor but "suck it up it's worth it".Best bike ever!! go buy one tomorrow! the only thing you may regret is buying one when a court has disposed of your license for 6 months :)
Love your delivery! Only wish the vid had more shots of the bike screaming around turns to hear that gorgeous noise...oh well, I guess I could just rewind!
Prob one of the best reviews I watched in a very long time! Had me cracking up a few times. Good stuff. Looks like an awesome bike to get once I have a full license ;)
hehe I know what you mean. Only downside, is you don't have that go anywhere, do anything thing versatility of a supermoto. But god dang that motor just sounds so intoxicating!!
Was watching intently leaning of my office chair when that honk made me fall off. Its like watching someone with the physique of The Rock talk with helium voice. Lord.
liked the comical but informative reveiw,as an aprilia shiver owner i know and understand fun that comes with an italian vee twin bike.thats in no way comparing the shiver 750 with the Tuono. Just to highlight the aprilia pedigree
I had one for a short while. Yep, I kept changing the traction control with my left hand - hilarious for a while. I couldn't figure out what was going with the bike after turning left. lol
you actually turn me on to these bike i i am in law enforcement this bike pulled away from in such beauty i had to own this bike in a speed bike on bike pursued ... top speed 140mph in the US...
The gearing is a simple fix. It has a 16 tooth front sprocket. You need to go down to a 15 tooth. And that will take care of the gearing. As far as the engine heat. It's a motorcycle don't get stuck in traffic
starrider1900 Still doesn't help that much,he might not be aloud to lane split where he lives and there might be lots of red lights on the way to work.Still much better then the rsv4 for commuting
This. The engine and handling are endlessly entertaining... the inline-4 has all the character of an... inline-4. It's no surprise that guys who have ridden for years so often end up on a v4 or a v-twin.
The V4 kinda sounds like the yamaha crossplane inline 4 engines, it's nice to have so many different engine configurations and soundsbto choose. But the flat 4 is still the best sound imo !
