Too Sweet .. what a great idea. I've been thinking about how to suspend my Fluval 3.0 above my 20g tank. I decided on shelf brackets from the wall behind it. simple enough. so then I was left wondering about how high above the tank .. this is an awesome idea. I have a window blind that works like this so I'm already familiar with how convenient this design is. no more trying to figure out what height gives the best coverage verses high enough room to be out of the way while doing maintenance. Too Cool .. thank you so much.

Awsome tip. I wonder why light manufacturers make the power cable black. Since most times its hanging, and most peoples walls are not black why not make it white to better blend into the wall.

if it is such big problem, you can repaint it with some "synthetic white" paint color...but I know what you mean :)

white cables become dirty, see your apple iPhone lightning cable ;) Best cables are fabric in my opinion, they look high quality

no it was already there as it was the 1200SP variant I used. however, you can drill holes at your own risk. All Twinstar Lights can be opened with 2 screws on the side

hey juris ! hab mir meine lampe auch so aufgehängt, peoblem ist nur dass es eine 60cm lampe ist und sie somit etwas leicht. die easy rolls ziehen die immer wieder bis zur hälfte hoch. was kann man da machen ?? evtl einen stopper aus tape machen ?

@@JurijsJutjajevs naja die schraube ist bei mir garnicht mehr dran weil es auf leichtester stufe ist. wenn du die fest ziehst dann erhöhst du ja lediglich den wiederstand den du ziehen musst, quasi es wird noch schlimmer

@@JurijsJutjajevs es gibt wohl zwei "Versionen" dieser Teile. Ich hatte die "schwarze" mit den Metallverschlüssen und Belastbarkeit mit bis zu 6kg. Habe mir jetzt "deins" auch gekauft und es funktioniert problemlos.😊

yes, but you will have to open the housing to replace the metal wires - and this can be a little tricky and can lead to warranty loss. A friend of mine has done it before, he needed extra long wires for super high ceiling. Its definitely possible, thats how I know it, but if you do this, you act at your own risk ;)
