Tomaso Lmao what? You’re really gonna shut down his witty joke because the particular rifle Jerry is firing probably doesn’t have an full auto trigger group? Get a sense of humor man geez
Tomaso Yes, and 864 other people did too. If you want me to explain the joke it’s because the implication is he shoots faster than an automatic weapon. Which is ironic since usually automatic modes should be faster than semi auto.
Did a quick calculation. Assuming his reaction time is around 0.15sec, he fired at a rate of 370rounds/min which is just above half the low end cyclic rate of a M16 according to Wikipedia. Just food for thought.
Yeah, when the Second Civil War comes, I weep for the Army that opposes Jerry. He could knock off a full squadron in a second, a platoon in 5, a company in 10.
@@ThatGuy-lv7hf No, the Army can only deploy by an act of congress. If the nation shatters into like 12 different pieces like every other modern civil war he’d be fine
I live 50 miles from his house, I have his cell #, and have sat down and visited with him. He honestly really is a “pistol jockey” like he says. This isn’t a line so know the facts before you comment. And by the way, he is a heck of a nice and humble guy with a nice family.
I know it's an old comment, but for new comers, these two didn't even do the math right. He says it took .55 seconds to get the gun up and first shot sent. Which means it was 6 in .53 The goal is to get up, on target and unload 5 in less than a second. The actual shooting speed is incredibly fast.
vinnyg101 Its funny because 3 years later Democrats are tying to ban anything that increases the rate of fire of a semi-automatic firearm. Hence, Jerry's finger.
+SAM BRICKELL Well, that kind of shooting are also hard as ____, and very measure-able. And Olympics is about measuring country sized E-penis, so they rather to be hard and measure-able than hard and fun.
@105816436515863177628 Hard sure. Interesting, no. Related to athletics (or war) no. The Olympics was started as a competition of martial arts, and pure athletics; now we have ping pong and .22 rimfire pistol slow fire. Penises? What's with people and pretending everything is about penises?
+SAM BRICKELL Since interesting is not the main factor about Olympics, it is to compare who is better, who can push to one's limit further, so they can make their people proud. Just look at how they managed to make sports like gymnastics looks boring...
rudymeow ""Since interesting is not the main factor about Olympics,"" So are we for some reason pretending that there's only one factor in figuring which makes interesting Olympics competitions? You aren't that simple, right?
@Wolf Joseph so there's this video of people playing airsoft, and one dude was wrecking everyone else and they start yelling "no full auto in the building" because he was shooting so fast they thought he was using full auto, he tells them that it isn't full auto and then switches to full auto to show them how fast his gun shoots in full auto, surprising the kids who thought it was full auto. Just look up "no full auto in the building" on yt and you'll find it bro
Just in: The ATF has classified his finger as a rate increasing device that converts a semi-automatic weapon into a fully automatic weapon and has banned it.
Sir that sort of video is what will prevent anyone from even trying to draw on you. I've shot fire arms about 5x times in my life but they are not as easy as Hollywood makes it out to be. Much respect.
Jerry you are amazing brother! I shot a good bit in the Navy, and have continued to shoot since getting out. I plan to enter my first competition next year, and certainly hope to be half as good as you are. Truly amazing watching your vids
You have got to give him credit, whether it's 3 feet or 1000 yards, this man has earned the People's respect, mine included ! That's what real time on the range will do to you. Like Jerry said, be the first one on the range and the last one to leave. Kudos to you JM.

In Basic (Fort Ord, early '71), a Range Officer provided an exhibition of M16 full auto. The brass tinkled into a pile, still in the air when the shooting's done.
That's not bad, you fire at around 300 rounds per minute. If you could double that time you could be on par with the rate of fire of an AK-47. 10 rounds a second... do you think that's possible?
Wade French I actually wasn't sure how to respond to your comment because what you said had literally nothing to do with what I said earlier. I know he is using a semi-auto rifle, if it was fully automatic then there would be no skill involved in the whole process, would there? The rate of fire of a fully automatic AK47 is 600 rounds per minute. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AK-47 This man can do 300 rounds per minute on a semi-auto rifle; I was just saying that if he speeds up a little bit he might as well be using a full auto.
Practical rates of fire for single barrel weapons are well below 600 rpm. 3.7 rps is the effective "max" average in full auto for shoulder weapons without destroying the weapon. Even full auto videos rarely show them breaking 350 rpm with burning them down. Observing max cycle rates is a waste of time. The AK's max practical rate is 100 rpm netwarrior. Try owning a gun.
haha John, it's a way of shooting faster in first person shooter games by using the scroll wheel on the computer mouse. he's joking saying Jerry is "cheating" as you would in a game.
I'm not supposed to be here I'm painting my house and came to youtube for tips and tricks for painting. Damn you youtube also this video was awesome and I love this guy. Subscribed.
I wish I could afford enough ammo to shoot like this lol. Every time I go to a range to work on skills and handling it hurts the wallet a little bit 😅 nice shooting!
What’s the trigger he dropped into that AR? His control of the recoil is amazing. I don’t know if he’s slapping the hell out of the trigger but if he’s not and resetting trigger.... wow.
