Good to see that court cases are s-l-o-w-l-y working in Swedish gun owners' favor, and that licencing authority may go to a better class of bureaucrats.

I honestly didn't knew that the Adler A-110 with 7+1 mag was legal on a hunting license until now because it's a lever action. I've never seen any hunters or sport shooters have one.

It is, I believe vildsvin is selling those. They are shit though.
EDIT: Just looked it up. Apparently it's really shit and the only sold because it's neither a pump action nor semi automatic thus bypassing the 2+1 restriction on 'hunting' shotguns.
About the Adler A-110, I do wanna so say a few things. I have had an A-110 for about 5 years now and it is perfectly fine. HOWEVER! It is not fine out of the box, The first thing you need to do is take it apart and polish the internals, polish them like your life depends on it. Then put about 2000 rounds through it and it will perform alright, meaning it will perform like other shotguns out of the box. And with that being said, It's a fun shotgun. If you like lever actions, buy one. If you don't, buy anything else. (Edit. My experience of shotguns is limited, take this as you please.)
In theory yes. And that will apply to all semi auto rifles with a minimum barrel length of 45cm. So if one can find an MP5 clone with a 45cm barrel; then that one will be legal for hunting, for example.
Are lever action hunting rifles allowed? In theory and practice they are more work than regular semi auto...so in theory Sweden should be fine with them, but I still wonder is it true?
Ohhh man, I am moving to Sweden next year, and I own some guns in Germany, and was wondering how I can own same and use in Sweden! Now I need to watch all your videos! Thank you!
Will this more relaxed approach to lever action shotguns stay in place, or is it likely to change? I ask so many questions because I will be moving to Sweden in late 2026.
@ And they will have ZERO backing from the law and regulations this time; which means it should be an easy appeal to "tingsrätten". Folding and collapsible stock will also be legal for any semi auto rifle, for hunting; if u missed it! ;) also for any pump action rifle. Like the Troy. I dont have it, but for those who have them.
What we both as a hunting and competitive shooting community need to do is to band together and demand the right to own modern weapon platforms (AR15/AR10 etc etc) both for hunting and for competitive shooting. We gun owners in Sweden spend to much fucking time arguing amongst each other on what kind of guns should be allowed for both hunting and competition and it needs to stop. We are all in this together and we all get affected by the decisions made by people that we never even got to vote into those positions. We also need to demand that the police no longer should be trusted to issue licenses and that whatever kind of new organisation that does is filled with people who actually want to see the Swedish gun community grow and prosper. For an example: Having to spend 24 months shooting a pistol in order to be eligible to shoot an AR15 (ISPC) in competitive shooting is borderline insane, not to mention the fact that 24 months of wich someone could have been practicing and perfecting the use of a rifle is lost.. Anyway, good and informative video as always Hagge👍🍻

The IPSC bs is just that federation in Sweden sucking money and time out of everyone joining them. In my club you are member for 6 months and you pass safety and handling tests for your AR15. That is what the law actually demands.
@ Only 6 months!? That sounds like a dream to me who spent 24 months shooting a pistol in order to be able to "advance" to rifle😂😢 Does the "Fritt gevär" way still work or have the idiots in charge manage to stop shooting clubs from that?

@@Spoltish Works fine for us in Stockholm, except they refuse sub 16" rifles atm for BS ipsc reasons.
In Finland we have the exact same thing with hunting and shooting sports communities, not banding together for common good yet drowning together as long as they get to keep their respective scraps. Also a pretty funky thing to add: in Finland anyone can go shoot a loaned club rifle for a week or couple of months (depending on the police in question issuing the license) and go buy an AR15 and take it home. But you need to shoot that for one year to be eligible for owning a magazine of larger capacity than 10 rounds so after all we all seem to have our share of insanity in gun laws. For a pistol you need to do two years before being able to own one.
Man, if I could actually get an AR15 on a hunting license, I might actually bother with trying to go and bag some deer or something. Would love something slightly old fashioned looking, like an M16A1 clone build, optionally taking some creative liberties and putting together something pseudo-retro. Anyone in Europe who can provide an A1 upper, or maybe a Colt 715/733 upper receiver? Seems like ITAR would make it a pain to have one shipped from overseas.

actionreactionsports dot se in Sweden has them for sale.
@ Man, maybe I can have my dream gun after all? Or at least close enough. You know, there's probably no law that says I can't put a flaregun on my hunting rifle, maybe I could get that vented heatshield and one of those smoothbore 37mm flareguns intended to look like an M203? That might be too much for my old fudd dad though, lol.
Problem with removing the "military things", wont change the fact the police is still denying licenses for rifles like the tikka t3x tac a1. Even if they lost in court... But yeah, in theory a AR15, 10, mini14 etc can be owned. I would love a ljungman :)

Yeah, the Police will not magically start following the law. Unfortunately.
Well, its illegal to use with the magasine. If you dont belive me, show it a police officer. Problem is, some stores selling autos didnt "nerf" the magazine properly. As the wording is "PERMANENTLY AFIXED AND LIMITED". So I would be carefull ever having it where people can get a look at it, there will always be people who is gonna repport stuff like that. Now-adays the police is more and more carefull and require certificate from a gunsmith that the gun is limited properly before writing a license.
does not lever fall under "manualy repeated" really.. But if you read it like the devil, the shotgun is not included and thuss, not legal. also several people has gotten licenses on typhoon F12. Fixed magazine and limited to 2+1. But in reality, the people buying that will "work around" the fixed mag and use a unlimited one for the range. Its quite a grey zone and frankly, quite illegal if you are following the law. Polise will atleast see it that way.

You are wrong. The rules for shotguns state "forward repeated" = pump action. So any other way of cycling the bolt is fine in conjunction with any size magazine. For semi autos and forward repeating ones, yes, the magazine needs to be permanently fixed and limited in capacity. All of this only applies for hunting licenses though.
