@@LiMCRiMZ i seen one of those recently. looks really cool. i got a sp404 followed by a couple synths and i just got a analoge drum machine. this was such an inspireing video for me too. if u been making beats before this video dropped ur an og beatsmith hows that feel? ✌
This is one of those childhood vids that made me think about musicality completely differently. Still on it today thinking DAMN after a decade of production and performance.
I watched this 9 year's ago when I was in highschool, and now with coronavirus I've been going back though all these concert videos to remember what it felt like to be excited to go to these events again 😭
Sounds like dog shit. You're just impressed by the fast fingers. Music is shit though. turn off the screen and listen to 1:10 to 2:07 and tell me you enjoy that.
1:23 when you tryna clean ya history before ya girl come through 2020:god damn can we go back to when I wrote this comment. Times were REALLY SIMPLE THEN😑.
After all this time, aged 51 and a beat maker since the 80s I still come back to this to remember what it means to move a crowd and give a dope performance... goose bumps every time...
I remember being like 8-9 years old just watching videos and this popping up! I wanted one of these boards so badly man😭now nearly 12 years later I come across the video again so crazy man
I like how people say music like this doesn't involve instruments. The type of skill, speed, and intelligence it takes to pull off stuff like this is incredible. Anyone who thinks otherwise is foolish, small minded, and frail.
This! Is! Talent! To all the haters that say it takes no skill to make dubstep music, or any techno music.... this video should put your minds at ease.
I love coming back to this vid after watching it years ago in middleschool to now ppl in the comments being fucking haters😂😂😂 Araab did what most artist weren't doing at the time, sorry babe if its not your taste❤🖒
I remember I saw this video when it only had a few thousand views. I searched it up again and was like I'll trip out if it doesn't at least have a million views by now. it had 4 million. Well deserved. .
Crude skills he has, AMAZING is the word for this level of controllerism! Have seen various artists with great producing and mixing art, but this level of skill?! Its MIND BLOWING!!!
It doesn't seem possible for a human being to be able to do that. But this guy makes me believe there are certain people in this world God gifts them with an ability to amaze this shit out of us. And there is only one...you can't replicate that kind of ability.
Sweet melodies and harmonnies you are sowing Flowing, glowing and growing I can see the crowd groovying moving and appreciating My lyrical mind is always stating and creating. Your gifts will always decorate the world's ears. Worldwide cheers for many years Glory hallelujah I
@Серёга М у тебя нет даже этого девайса что ты мне тут втираешь херню, принажатии на кнопку трек автоматически подстраивается под проигрываемый семпл, так сможет трехлетний ребенок играть
Novation launchpads aren't built for this style of finger drumming. He's known for using Akai MPC drum machines. If you want to get into finger drumming like this I say check out the Akai MPD series, or NI's Maschine line. Sometimes you can also find old MPCs for pretty cheap price. I personally use Maschine and love it. The MKII is especially nice with the ability to change the color of the light underneath the pad.
My biggest dislike with the smaller Akai hardware is the fact that everything feels so crowded. That could just be my hands are too large for the device. I would honestly say test it out. If you have a local store to purchase one at ensure that they have a return policy on it and test it out at home for a week. I would look at Mad Zach from DJTT for instruction on how to get started finger drumming.
Because the launchpad isnt velocity sensitive, it doesnt work for this type of work. Ableton push is what you want. Or Maschine. A buddy of mine has the push though, and its just amazing.
