We take a look at the Arabic speaking community in Bay Ridge Brooklyn by learning about the cultural traditions and diversity within the community. We begin the journey visiting the Balady Food grocery store that caters to Arabic speaking communities of various nationalities, many of whom are seeking halal foods. Then we experience a halal dining experience at the Yemen Café, speak with Executive Director of the Arab-American Association ---Linda Sarsour who explains the political and social needs of the Arabic speaking community. We end the day visiting an Arabic speaking Lutheran church and dancing with the Freedom Dabka Group.
