Love my Arai Corsair X too! I've got the Maverick Vinales Replica - easily best helmet I've ever owned, the quality is insane. One big piece of advice I can give is to definitely invest in the Pinlock anti-fog system. I've got a clear and a dark smoke shield setup with that system. It's amazing, guaranteed no fog issues!

Good review. But the name of your Arai is the COR - Sair, not the CROSS - Air. As for anyone who would remotely consider purchasing a Ruroc over an Arai (or frankly, purchasing any Ruroc at all) - well, let's just say I hope that, like you, they look behind the thick curtain of Ruroc marketing.

i prefer oakley too bro. Also love the silver iridium visors. I was looking at ruroc but it looks like some smoke and mirrors when you do your research. I ended up going with a Scorpion exo r1 air carbon corpus 2. Its a mouthful but its super light and quality for the price. Good enough for Fabio Quartararo, good enough for me.

Simple.... Corsair X = #1, X-Fourteen = #2, Scorpion, HJC, Bell, and the others all fighting for #3, Ruroc, still at the drawing board. Great choice money well spent, especially if you ride above 45 mph (Ruroc), LOL.
Had two ruroc 4.0 delivered to me both arrived broken the quality wasn't there for me and their return process sucks because they're based out of the United Kingdom turnaround time between sending the helmet back and getting a new one is over 3 weeks I got the arai also but the samurai edition it’s a much better helmet

I get what you’re saying. But I used to work part time at cyclegear and you don’t know how many times I have customers pass up a Shoei , AGV or an aria to purchase Ruroc helmet. It happens. Trust me. They look good. That’s why I did the compare. The new 4.0 Atlas is very nice though.
