If the mt09 sp was so perfect should have waited till your finances were in order enough to keep it and get the Duc. Good luck with the bike, does look really cool but the CP3 engine sounds so much better imo 😃

The guy who inspired to me buy an MT 09 SP is now on Ducati. Time to change the name of the channel from yamayari to ducayari. Haha. Happy for you man. Life is all about fulfilling your dreams. The only thing that stops me from buying a Ducati is the heat. I live in Arizona, so you know for sure that being on a panigale for more than 30 minutes can be a torture. Bikes are always a personal thing so I can never criticise their owners. Personally I could never justify owning a Ducati even if I could afford to buy one with cash. An Aprilia maybe, but Ducati are just so cliche, so I couldn't do it. On the bright side you don't have to wave to other riders now.
I’m currently on a Diavel planning on making a switch to the Mt-09 SP. Reasons Cruise control Lighter Easier to maintain I can use it as a daily commute I can get away with installing a top box Mileage Usable power Can learn a lot from it , I plan to do a lot of slow speed motojitsu drills, could not afford doing it on a Ducati Diavel.
I’ve been thinking of switching it up myself too bro! I’m probably gonna bite the bullet and try and get a 2024 R1 at the beginning of the year when they come out and still keep my 21 mt09sp!
Quite an upgrade, super happy for you. I really want to get my hands on a Streetfighter V4, but I know I can't afford those Ducati service charges 🤣Until then I'm hanging on to my zx6r
You should have kept your R1 if you were going to go this route. In my opinion, you had the best bike the way you had your MT09 SP set up. I hate to be the guy to call this out but maintaining this Ducati will be nothing like your Yamahas. I like your channel and I am going to miss your Yamaha content.
Lucky You. You did the right thing. I did the same at your age, kept my 916sp from 1995 for 25 years. But the mt09sp is light and easy to drive as a everyday moto bike when you reach 70. Enjoy riding the Ducati

First off all. Awesome bike my mate has the same one. Got one question though. Aren't you gone miss the mt09 for commuting? I'm looking for a second bike but the mt09 wil stay with me. Its perfect for me. Comfortable enough power agil in the corners and more then enough power to get me in troubles. Second bike wil be a supermoto for me
If I would have really seen the future. I would have kept my base MT09!and swapped the R1 for the Ducati. That way to your point I would have options for the more local routes.

Been following you since I got my 21 Mt09. Think we bought roughly around the same time. Sad to see you switch, but can't say I blame you. Change is nice... Half the fun is upgrades and making the bike your own. Id love to see what parts you have available. Im sure I have most of the upgrades, but never know what you're hiding. I support you, you're a great guy, the engine doesn't matter, the man who presents them matters! I don't like the compression on the Ducati V4 engine 14:1 compared to the Yamaha mt09 11:1 .
My god. Is it really so that even liter Ducati doesn’t have that low end torque of mt09? I really miss the aerodynamics on my mt09 as I ride 90% of time between cities. So I guess if R9 comes with same engine and settings as Mt09 - that will be my perfect bike :)
Thinking you have made a mistake with your decision, I had a Ducati 996 and it was nothing but trouble from the first day I picked it up from the dealership, plus it was so uncomfortable to ride and look after and maintain. In my view a bad decision.
I respect your honesty, and your probably right lol, but, its been on the list of dream bikes, so i pulled the trigger, but if it comes down to it ill swap it again. Thank you for your input, means alot. Ride safe.

Congratulations on the new bike. It’s absolutely beautiful. Still have My 2021 MT 09 fully modded and tuned but I’m about ready to upgrade. There’s an Aprillia V4 1100 2022 for sale in my area but my area still on the show room floor but I’m back and forth with the MT 10 because of maintenance costs on the Italian. What’s you take now that you on another Italian bike.
Thank you! The Aprillia is an amazing bike! super cool! Im not to worried about the maintenance. They gave me a service warranty and from what i can tell, oil and filter are just slightly higher in costs, Parts are more expensive but when you buy a Italian bikes that's just the price you pay. As for now I'm not to worried. But that's what RU-vid is for lol
@@yamayari8351 I would definitely get the service warranty on either bike and other than a slip on for either bike I won’t be going through the headaches of doing a full exhaust on either of them. Did you trade in your MT 09. Mine is fully tuned and although the oxygen sensor is plugged into the exhaust it not connected. It’s making 126 to the wheel now and another 10 pounds of torque 76. Not sure if the dealer will still trade it in. Others told me to sell it on my own but that’s just another pain.

That Ducati is a work of art compared to the MT series bikes. But this is coming from a Kawasaki concours 1400 cc sport touring kind of guy so… not much say 😂
