All the friction hitches are a little jumping for me when descending except for the 4/3 LT that always descends smooth if I use HRC cord.

Good video!! I still want to find the right length cord for a VT hitch

Once you figure out the right length I'm sure you'll be happy with the results.

This is what I needed for my learning (very amateur). Working on pine trees and several larger Walnut trees. practicing low and slow. VT looks like my friend for this practice run. Another nicely done video, sir. Thank you.

Oh ya, I like the Blake’s hitch so much, even over the hitch climber/ MRS and the rope wrench/ SRT systems I have. 🇨🇦🇺🇸

It's great when you find what you like most. What I like most is a rope Wrench hitch climber and 24 inche cord using a Michoacan.

@@BinoH yes, it’s funny that I didn’t realize the simplicity of the Blake’s climbing system until I used the SRT/MRS applications . Hey Bino, does your RU-vid channel have a email address?

@@philosborn1840 Yes it does you need to click for the address.

Have you tried the Michoacán with a 24" cord with 4 wraps and a pulley?

so which friction hitch is best, and why?
@BinoH
@BinoH 10 месяцев назад
The one that you fell most comfortable with. What I mean by that is there are lots of different ropes prusik cord and diameters and peoples body weights. Because there are so many different variables it's hard to say that there is on best friction hitch. For me I use the Michoacán with a 24" cord and 4 wraps. Take care!
