The worst thing to happen to outdoor brands is people buying it that don't use it for its intended purpose. Greed takes hold and folks that actually enjoy the outdoors can no longer afford the brand.
@@allen.9yes it in fact does, arcteryx which used to have very form fitting wear on me has recently gone from athletic body cuts to bigger baggier cuts because of the influx of unfit people wearing it. The difference in that cut is massive when you’re 500 feet above the ground upside down on a 5.12a overhang climb.
Sucks to see how the brand become a fashion trend ……. It went from having trained operators put it to the test, now into street fashion. people will wear it now just because it’s expensive and not because it can survive harsh environments
Patagonia does so much for the environment, culture and conservation that dissing on them is absurd. I’ll wear Patagonia because they’re an example to follow as a business model and the ideal figure a corporation should be… everything arcteryx strives to be without the greed

Who is this Brit? 😂. As an ex Arc athlete this shows the appalling direction the brand has taken. Although at least I can make a profit on all the free Arc gear to the wannabees.
