When I was a kid, my parents were in a bowling league and the place had an arcade with both this and the true Donkey Kong. This game there was called "Congarilla" on the cabinet. I liked this one better because it had all the boards in each level, but I never understood how this game could exist and have all these different and strange sound effects. Plus, if I recall correctly, in this one you could run behind "Kong" on the final level to help get those top rivets.
Played this on an arcade back in the early 80's. This was in Cd. Juarez in Mexico in an arcade place called "TOWI" which means "little kid" in Raramuri language. Anyway, the marquee said "El Gorilla Burro" (Gorilla Donkey or Donkey Kong). On the side of the screen there was an illustration with instructions in Spanish on how to play the game and the Mario character was refereed to as "Paco" and the lady was nameless, just refereed to as a "Dama" (lady). My childhood friend's last name was Falcon so he would boast that his family made that game when the "Falcon" screen would came up. XD Awesome memories!!
It's actually called "Crazy Kong" as it was actually made to run on Nihon Bussan's 'Crazy Climber' hardware. Falcon later made their own boards which were simpler than the Crazy Climber ones. BTW I like the "Hiya!" from Jumpman as he jumps...it's an actual sound sample.
You know, despite being INFERIOR to the original Donkey Kong. I have to give props to Falcon for fixing the most of the colors that were JUST ATROCIOUS in the first version of Crazy Kong.
When I first saw this as a kid at a Revco pharmacy, I thought it was Donkey Kong Part II, and always wondered about the title sequence beginning at 0:35 where the "Falcon" unlocks the cage and releases Donkey Kong (now transformed into Crazy Kong), to wreck all kinds of new havoc in this game!
Obviously a Donkey Kong clone but still a fun classic game. Always wondered if the point pressing works the same as Donkey Kong. Thanks for all the great classic arcade videos. Your channel definitely inspired me to build my own classic arcade gaming system and it's a blast!

The ramps on the barrels level are cut shorter (so, for example, you can't get the top hammer and hang out at the right end, right of the ladder, and hit barrels above you), and in later rounds have gaps in them that must be jumped over. The elevators have larger gaps between them. All levels show up on each round, whereas in Donkey Kong you don't get the elevators until the second round and the pie factory until the third round.
+Lurch “Lurch666” 66on the 1st board go to the 2nd latter, climb up and go to the very edge of the 2nd floor facing left and jump backwards if done right you could jump to the next screen....I know all the tricks to this game...
