Thank you Stan Lee for the memories you're the father of Marvel Comics, you deserve to be called a legend, an icon, you created the best superheroes: The Punisher Ant-Man Spider-Man Iron Man Blade Thor X-Men Fantastic 4 Doctor Strange Captain America Captain Marvel Luke Cage Guardians of The Galaxy Ghost Rider And other Marvel Characters and after I watch Avengers: Endgame in my hometown of Dubai, UAE on April, 24 we all want to say: ((Thank you Stan Lee)) Out of respect from the Texas Rattlesnake and WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin: "if you love Stan Lee gimme a hell yeah"
The red guy with the trench coat and the machine gun gives immortality like easy passage through the level without killing anything. Enemies just dying when you advance through the level. That was some kind of glitch
Hey, I hear arcade 1up is release a trio of marvel based fighting games. The punisher, a legend in badassery! Anti-hero incarnate! “Si vis pacem, para bellum”
This is the best and most intense beat em up Ive ever played. So much fun using bats to beat the crap out of people so bad they break and you can still use the broken end!
Man I really miss these classic arcade walkthrough-beat-em ups. I remember One of the TMNT games they remastered 4 one of the newer systems. They gotta up date this 1 as well 4 sure.
Always wondered if those turkeys hidden in the stack of tires tasted any good. Capcom seemed to think so because it was in almost all of their beat em ups
Wow Kingping sure takes a ton of hits to put away! Even when he had no energy, he was still on his feet! In most games, when the boss is dead all of the enemies automically die, but in this game all of the enemies have to be killed off, along with the final boss, by the looks of it.
I remember when I was young we played that game on a coin operated machines, and I used to beat the game every time with just one credit! I think the red robot is the toughest boss, even harder than Kingpin!
You're welcome, monkeymac3 :). I forgot to mention that the reason why it's best to avoid the Bonus Worlds is because of the fact that the player won't be able to finish the level with a 100% shooting accuracy, if he or she were to enter. Getting 100% shooting accuracy gives the Punisher a supergun, which makes the game a lot easier, especially the bosses. Another useful tip is to shoot at objects, like windows, bricks, cars, garbage cans, etc., as they often leave items.
monkeymac3, I actually do have a complete playthrough of Punisher for the NES on tape, but figured that people would find it much too long and repetitive. That is the reason why I had cut it down into a highlight package. The footage can be found under shincyriades' page, if you haven't already seen it. The best advice that I can give you in that game is to never enter the Bonus worlds. They may seem helpful at first, but LJN devised them as a trap.
My favourite game and my all-time favourite character Frank ((The Punisher)) he lost his family because they saw a mob execution the victim is in fact an undercover agent.
I never played the arcade version before, but I have played the one on sega, still I want to give this game a play, but once agian the arcade version is an awsoem beat em up, because I'm a sucker for beat em ups games
+shinzantetsu What is MAME? Sorry, I am trying to get into older games to re-live some missed moments in my childhood. My goal is to play every game out there, no matter how good or bad.
Man, I'm searching the punisher version with a different BGM. Do you know? I played this version in an arcade in my childhood. This we all know, has not the songs That I played. The songs of all levels are totally different from Those We all know. They Were much better with more suspense. Maybe it's an unofficial version, because the world, Japan and U.S. versions Have The Same music. I really wanted to find this version. Could you help me?
those were the times..we were masters because we were paying 1 coin each time and one detail was that although most percentage of people were right handed the arcade cosoles button were in their VAST majority for LEFT HANDED users.LMAO amazing?the "joystick"was on the LEFT SIDE and the buttons from te right side and this should be vice versa.you had 2 choices.either to put your right hand crossinng your left or to find the game with joystick on the right side...
@20xxFishSpineOff I tried this and nothing! These sounds are like the typical 8-bit. What I'm looking for songs are sounding better and I played in an arcade, not in home systems! I really wanted to hear again! If you find it, please let me know! Thanks.
lol Please ignore my previous post, I can now see that Kingpin has two energy bars and not one! Boy, do I sure ever feel like an ass clown for having missed that :).
MDI Gaming No dlc in the 90's wouldve sucked, my parents wouldnt have paid for that shit lol I figured at least he couldve been in the last DLC pack for MvC 3, god knows they had a shit ton of characters in that game, Castle shouldve been one of them
