I remember dropping a few quarters on this game back in the day. It was at a local swapmeet in Midtown Los Angeles that had a mini arcade in the back. Those were fun times, indeed
Ah, yes. This was one I truly enjoyed playing. I remember the laundromat on the pier side of 32nd St. Naval Station San Diego had Metal Slug 2 among the few arcade machines in it. I used to play it when I was doing my laundry (uniforms & civilian clothes. I got good enough at it where I could finish the first 4 missions (out of 6 in total) and make it roughly halfway through mission 5 on a single quarter, and still on my first play. Damn fun game!
same one quarter and got about to the same area, after tho i used nearly 2 dollars of quarters to get through the rest, dont know how he does it to never get touched
one has to wonder how a prisoner who is impervious to bullets & explosions and can fire Power Orbs of Awesome out of his bare hands became a prisoner in the first place

I love MS series, is one of the most playable hit n' run arcades, the graphics, the music, the violence, is simply perfect, the gags and the black hunor shut be better than the original Nazca games metal slug. If playmore SNK gonna make a Metal Slug 8, shut be like the original games, not killing two Tarma and Fio. Actually I love play with Fio.
Now this is just me thinking outloud here but...understanding all the crazy bosses in the metal slug series and whatnot, who's the scientist who thought putting a overgunned battleship on tank treads was a good idea O_o

Razing789 / Airstorm there's not. there's metal slug 1 through to 7, then there's metal slug X and metal slug XX which are both remakes. there's no metal slug 8 or metal slug 9.

3:25 all Arab armies are no longer fighting with swords now . they are fighting with guns , grenades , combat knives , tanks , helicopters and they are also wearing combat helmets like all other armies in this world
I was SO surprised to see that the Xbox One couldn't even handle all the animation from this game! So much slowdown I just shook my head... Really Xbox One? This game was from waaaay back in 1998 and your CPU couldn't handle everything! WOW 😵
cool well with i love this game that with a quarter i go up to level 5 however for MS 3 i die in 2nd stage boss , i love the mummy and zombie levels hahaha :) only reason why i would play this games :D
