You had to rescue a girl in the final round. Yet she just popped out of nowhere. We never learn if she was some kind of princess, possibly held hostage by the Galaga’s.
This really pushed the series to its max, much like how Majestic Twelve pushed the Space Invaders formula to perfection. Note: this is now on Arcade Archives!!!!
This game does a really good job of stimulating the senses. The boom you hear when you cause a rift between dimensions is just magnificent. Like, this isn't a piece of paper you've ripped through, but the boundary between realities.
What a strange world it is that I sit in my living room watching someone else play a game that I have in my basement. Can't be bothered to get off my arse
played this on one of those oneup display machines at walmart and the opening jingle reminded me of those awesome chiptunes the x68k has. turns out it uses the same sound hardware, neat game but man its it B*tch to play sometimes
I play this on an Anbernic RG353M. It is very hard to play on this device because the shooter moves too slowly and there is a delay in the motion. My best score is about 120000.
Ending 1: you beat them but they might come back one day Ending 2: you beat them all and now there all sad Ending 3: you beat them all and now they're all dead Ending 4: who cares what you did you're getting laid.
