Other than the excellent TATE mode config explanation, you’re also the first video I’ve found that properly explains the Retroarch Turbo configuration for me! I’ve never understood how it worked until now.
Love this. Thanks for the info. Wish MAME or Retroarch would make a TATE mode by simply pushing a button/switch. There are just so many vertical shooters from the arcades.
Oh that's dope! Been using a portable monitor for all my tate needs Got a Win600 that works great for TATE too! (The right stick placement is key) Been eyeing up the miyoo for a minute now (got a powkiddy v90 to quell my desires), but this has just knocked it up to a mad desire to have I'm a god damn sucker for tate mode play xD
@@PhyrexTechs it's a janky lesser steam deck that's fun to tinker with It doesn't get much use anymore (got it sept a year ago), has weird bootup issues (running holoiso, thinking about going back to windows for dual screen options ... Portable monitor for pinball and arcade, win600 for backboard score/marquee mental concept) It's got potential that I could probably unlock with more time, but for now it's collecting dust I DO really like the stick placement over having the touchpads of the steam deck, but the extra functionality of the controls of the deck really have my attention (and the OLED newness is right up my ally)
