I’m disappointed that the new wave 2 Arcade1up countercades aren’t the same size as wave 1. Now they don’t match my collection. And I was looking forward to putting my newly ordered Ms. Pac-Man countercade next to my Galaga. (Still, happy to have them all!)
@@johnny58435 Hi! My Ms. Pac-Man order isn’t shipping until end of August. I'm sure COOLTOY or another community poster will post a side-by-side video then. We know it's going to be smaller, though... I have four of the five wave 1 countercades placed on top of a hallway/sofa table (those long narrow tables about 30” high), perfect for gameplay in a smaller space while sitting on a stool or even with a lower chair-the artwork looks great, I love them! (I sure do wish the wave 2 countercades would match in size-though, not at the original $199 price! I’d pay $149.)
Why would they add a fire button to Ms. Pac-Man if the other game is Super Pac? That game doesn't require a button. I wonder if there's some hidden game (like Galaga) on there?
Actually at CES, the V2s didn't have a bigger screen, they had a smaller 7" screen! If they kept it at 8", awesome. Honestly, even 8" is too small. I upgraded my screen to 10.1, doesn't seem like much, but it is a game changer. The machines themselves are awesome for modding.
Why put Galaga on the Pac-Man countercade instead of another Pac-Man title like Pac & Pal? Doesn't make sense, and all it does is greatly lower our chances of getting a dedicated Galaga/Galaxian countercade. :(
Have a feeling they are the new 7" monitor and QVC just copy/pasted the old info from the original countercade they sold instead of updating correctly ! ( If you watch the video they look smaller than the original versions when they are being played )
It's good that the version 2 counter top machines are coming out, and at a decent price point. Have you heard any news on the V2 of the year 1 cabinets? Nobody in the media has asked recently A1Up if they plan on releasing versions with updated features like scanlines, dip switch settings and vector graphics adjustments for vector games like Asteroids and Tempest.
yes they have plans to re release some of the older wave 1 titles with upgrades, however it's toward the low end of their priorities at the moment with all their other newer releases coming this year. I wouldn't expect to see anything on that front this year.

A little disappointed of pairing Ms Pac-Man with Super Pac-Man. I have the Pac-Man cocktail cabinet, so already have Super Pac-Man (don’t remember it as a kid but really like it). Anyway, if it came with Galaxian, then I’d definitely buy it! That would make for a better pairing with Pac-Man coming with Galaga too, IMO. Anyway, I hope the come out with countercades for Burgertime, Frogger, and Q-Bert some day... love those games, but just don’t think they’ll pair them well enough with other games to buy a 3/4 cabinet for them.
Thanks!!! Just subscribed to your channel. Yes, waited for so long that Arcade1up would finally announce a Ms Pacman cabinet. Pacman is a classic . . but Ms Pacman is such a better game!!!! And just like you said, this is a great way to have Ms Pacman in a retro style collection with the countercade if you want this game and not have the same recycled games that Arcade1up keeps pushing out, and at an insane price!!! I would of never stumbled across the QVC website and clicking on other game options to reveal Ms Pacman, lol. But thanks for your tip about this info!!!!! Ordering it tomorrow for sure!!!! :-)
I'm very interested in the MS PACMAN Countercade. it looks great. But I would also like to see a Mortal Kombat, Golden Tee Golf, and Street Fighter 2 versions as well.

Why don’t they make another PARTYCADE @ $125 - $150 ? 17” monitor 3-4 game list My original Pac-Man partycade came with Pac-Man, Galaga, and Galatian. The updated version comes with an additional Dig Dug. My point is: for another $25-$50 why not make a Ms Pac-Man partycade with a 4game list and 17” monitor like the updated Pac-Man partycade?
My guess is: there is more profit in selling an iconic brand with a small screen at around $100 Vs Selling the same games with a larger screen at $199.
Have to be honest Doug. The contercades are cool. But you and myself included have long been waiting for our Dragon's Lair Replicades from New Wave Toys! Most excited for that currently! Just ordered both. The screens look bigger so either the screen is bigger or the dimensions are incorrect in the description. That would be my guess because they were looking to make them smaller to match the smaller screen...which makes sense.

If arcade1up doesnt add Digdug to the new Ms Pac cab they can SUCK IT!! Its the ONLY way i would buy one....and i know im not the only one out there gonna of burned out on this arcade shit....cool part is your channel is more than arcade games!! Rock on 👊

I just dont understand why they have taken DigDug and literally put it on everything but an actual standup cab....its iconic game and makes zero sense!! Do we know a date that Ms Cab fullsize cab is coming out so we can be on the watch? Thank you bro!!
While I recently bought the Quarter Arcade Ms. Pac-Man, I ended up getting the Arcade 1Up Pac-Man Counter-Cade just for having Galaga to it, plus the good price. Also thanks for the info on the promo code as it helps out.
Had to get this ms.pacman from qvc at that price point i'll probably get the pacman too. This will tied me over until I can get the right stand up version of Ms.pacman. I'll wait until we get one with digdug or rally x or something other than repeat pacman games.
too bad Arcade1up doesn't have the trigger/speed button on the left as well. Super Pacman in the arcade had a speed button on both sides. A right handed player can tap speed w left hand. Not on this sadly. Unless player 1 or 2 is speed while playing??????
Just ordered the Mrs. Pac-Man version. My wife had ordered the Pac-Man partycade a few weeks ago so had to double dip lol. She will probably cancel it once she sees I ordered the smaller and cheaper countercade lol

Dope. I think I’m going to opt for those wall cades though since my full size cabs take up so much room in my shooting studio. I’m tempted to find room somewhere in my house for the countercades but my wife will probably kill me lol
If you order from the QVC app, it looks like a Frogger version was or will be available? No pictures but the Frogger is X’d out beside the Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man.
CoolToy, So excited now for a Ms. Pac-Man Countercade! That I do have room for :) I have the original Pac-Man Countercade. Pac & Pal does require a separate button input for gameplay and uses the P1 button as that. I guess since the new Pac-Man Countercade comes with Galaga, they wanted a dedicated fire button. Great choice! Had to edit my response from before. I found the Ms. Pac-Man choice. My bad :) vgv
