Pentakill is an expression for the gameplay of League or MOBA Games in general. As it is a 5v5 game a Pentakill is when a single person kills everyone in the enemy team. It is also the Name of the first Band Riot created themselves. They since have had 3 Albums with the latest one even featuring an interactive concert on youtube. Also to your Skin question: Yes, most of them are alternate universes. Like Odyssey Jinx is Jinx but in a Guardians of the Galaxy style setting. Or Star Guardian Jinx is Jinx as a Sailor Moon-esque Magical Girl. Some Skins are just one-offs and some actually have developed universes with multiple champions having a skin within that skinline. Very rarely there is a few Skins that are canon to the main Universe. The ones that come to mind are Captain Fortune, King Viego, Captain Gangplank and The Thousand Pierced Bear (Volibear). Most of them usually depict Champions during different times.
This is fun. What they mean by skins being part of alternate universes. Jinx as a space pilot, Jinx as "Sailor Moon," Jinx as a cyber robot, Jinx as a KPop idol. For example, there is a whole universe with LoL characters as 'magical girl' trope heroes and villains (Star Guardians). In this case, the LoL champions are part of a metal band name Pentakill and the skins are the looks represented by the champs in this music video. However, being part of a music band is not part of these champs' actual lore. Pentakill has 3 full albums (2014) (2017) (2021) Pentakill was Riot's first musical group composed of the champs Karthus, Yorick, Sona, Mordekaiser, Kayle and Olaf; later featuring Viego. KDA was the hugely successful (PoPStars single with almost 450 million views) KPoP girl band Ahri, Akali, Kai'Sa, Evelynn, later featuring Seraphine True Damage is Riot's more hip-hop group with their single GIANTS (with secret Arcane easter egg) featuring Ekko, Qiyana, Senna, Yasuo and Akali While these bands have famous artists like Jørn Lande, Keke Palmer and Soyeon (as Akali for both KDA and True Damage), the musical groups are composed of the Champion. What I mean to say is Ekko for example is performed by two artists and Soyeon might not forever be the voice of Akali. Can't wait for Star Guardian, KDA or Spirit Blossom! TY

@@StopMeOh in league of legends characters have different "skins" riot often releases "skinlines" multiple skins for different Champs that share a theme. These skinlines often have their own lore and stories and essentially exist in an alternate universe to the regular leage universe. So the "odyssey" skinline is its own separate story/lore/universe. There's all kinds, Starguardian, Battlecast, ruination, Darkstar, etc.
Yordles are kinda inspired by fae and pixies. So Bandle City is a magical realm that doesn't exist in one physical place. And the same kinda counts for yordles. They are SUPER magical, and basically immortal. So they travel around all over the world using portals sometimes helping, sometimes hurting. They have a tendency to change personality based on the location they stay mainly at. So Heimerdinger staying in Piltover resembles that and Ziggs resembles Zaun and so on and so on
I am happy that you liked the Bandle City trailers and especially your reaction to Caitlyn popping up :D I don't think that Caitlyn has a method to off Yordles, who are, for the most part, like nice/good... ...except for maybe Veigar, and he really struggles to be actually evil XD The fox lady (Ahri) is from Ionia, as is Kennen (the little blue ninja one). Ionia has quite some Yordles too ^^
Don't forget about Vex though.. 😉 In LoR the Caitlyn /Teemo deck is very popular. She also has very friendly voice lines with Yordles. Plus there are even Yordles working as enforcers. Cait :" Your are the fluffiest partner I ever worked with!" 😉 (LoR lore is almost 95% canon )
Teemo deserves every single misshap that meets him and many more. And that sweet cat with the book is named Yummi and she is the worst gameplay parasite in entire LOL, I hate her with every ounce of being, good that she got nerfef to the ground. And Pentakill is not the only band in Riot's potfolio but for sure my favourite one. And Mortal reminder is one of best songs but my favourite ones are the ones with different vocalist, famale one, Kayle, vocalist who gave her voice Noora Louhimo is just inceredibly good
I like Yordles, the Champions among them are quite interesting. Also, yeah, i don’t know why they Bounties on Yordles, but it’s probably fair to assume that it’s not for anything good for them.
Pentakill has a number of vocalists on different songs. Jørn Lande (Jorn, Avantasia, ex Masterplan) sings the vocals on the music video. Think he also sings on most of the songs. There's also Per Johansson (Ureas), Tyler Smith, Jen Sakura and Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast) doing the vocals on other songs.
When you said "I don't think the band was Metallica nor Guns n' Roses, i don't think they have these kind of connections" oh believe me they do, they worked with artists such as Lil Nas X, Imagine Dragons, Becky G and more very renowned artists, they have crazy amounts of connections and, on top of that, they basically have a literal bottomless pit of money to afford anything they want so, yeah... 😉

Pentakill is comprised of riot members from their audio team I believe. The lead singer ghost guy is a playable character in game and his voice actor is the guy singing which is really cool.
Actually the vocals for Karthus in Pentakill is mainly provided by Jorn Lande (Jorn), with ZP Theret and Per Johansson also providing additional vocals for some songs. Karthus' Voice Actor is someone different. The vocalist for Kayle is Noora Lauhimo (Battle Beast). The Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer and Keyboardist aren't from the audio team either. Several of them, over the course of the three albums, have been from pretty big bands in the Metal world.
Skins are just cosmetics in game, that's how they make money from their free to play game. For example, Jinx has a mafia skin, a Chinese new year skin, an odyssey skin that looks like guardians of the Galaxy, a star guardian skin that is basically sailor moon, etc. Pentakill is just another skinline for those characters. Sometimes a skinline gets enough attention that they release a second or even a third set of skins and develop alternate lore for those skins. Keep in mind that you have watched some of them obviously, so no need to rewatch those, unless you want to do it offcamera to refresh your memory when watching the playlist. Some cinematics like awaken I put in just to introduce some of the characters, for example Yasuo's appearance in awaken ties in to his backstory. And in the case of braum or pyke I put their teasers to introduce them before we see them together. Ah, and for Lucian's Login screen, the interesting part is the intro that he narrates, the rest is his music theme, if you want to listen to the complete theme go ahead, if not, just his intro.
Skins means different universes because the gear and outfits that champions wear in those skins have implications that would contradict the established world and lore. For example the project skins feature cyber/advanced technological armour and (plasma?)weapons which cannot exist in the main universe. It’s a convenient way to excuse having all these skins with no limits
Basically League of Legends is funded by selling skins for champions. Idk if you're much of a gamer, but it's alternative outfits for champions. A lot of skins come with alternative lore which is why they're alternative universe and not canon. For example with the Odyssey skin line, Jinx is a space bounty hunter. There's a video for it and it's worth checking out.

Pentakill is when you are the person/character that kills/last touches the enemy 5 players since League is a 5 v 5 game. You rarely do it but when it does, it is celebrated by both teams in the game. @@StopMeOh Teemo is so hated in the LoL MOBA game that he has an unofficial extra ability, the "Global Taunt." Basically, if there's a Teemo on one team, at least half of the people on the second team will spend most of their time trying to corner him and kill him, ESPECIALLY if he kills them once or twice. It's amazing. I've seen the enemy team literally lose a game because half of their people were too busy chasing Teemo all over the jungle to notice that their base was under attack.
After you will finish with Legends Of Runeterra movies. You should advance to prerendered cinematics and other animated movies from RUneterra universe. There is SO MUCH OF THEM on game channel. Its baffling how all of this was created to promote MOBA game (at the start. Its far more products right now). Overall its very well thought and enjpyable universe. If you want more insight into worldbuilding, lore, etc.. i recommend to react to videos called "The world of Riot MMO is already done" by Necrit. Its a long one but its worth it. Its not animated movie but it showcases a lot of beautiful and very well done 2D art pieces from Legends Of Runeterra game. There is also a lot of cool movies on his channel if you are into Runeterra wolrd but its maybe too much. ;) And if you like animation overall (based on your upload history), i think you will love "Breathe" (Legends of Runeterra launch trailer) video. There are two versions, one narrated, one is a music video (both are worth watching. Music video is also pretty well done song. You will be suprised with production quality just like with Pentakill). Have fun in you adventures in Runeterra. ;)
Have you ever tried to watch some of Necrit's explanations about the League of Legends world/universe? It can help A LOT to understand what happened in Arcane. I really recommend the video: "Story of League of Legends Explained". This video will open you to new content and possible scenarios.
I like how all the ships you're trying to sail are not straight xDD Literally any same gendered characters on the screen having more than 1 second of interaction make you ship them xDD Never watched these videos with that perspective, interesting (although Graves and Twisted Fate are kinda almost canon now, but yourdles?
