When mage gets their 2nd awakening and gets their third magic it will get crazy. Hitting a frozen enemy with metal magic does 80% more dmg. Which is ridiculous considering metal pulsar is already capable of doing 1.2k damage.
fire magma is also pretty good since magma is very hard hitting and they each gain a 25% damage boost when the target is burned/scorched with the opposite magic respectively
Glass magic with Acid magic is pretty good actually, acid gives the corroding effect which makes glass magic do 20% more damage and glass gives the bleeding effect which makes acid do 15% more damage
fire wood and explosion plasma also work just as well, fire and plasma are mostly interchangeable but if you want slightly faster with lower damage go plasma
Lightning warlock with sailor fist seems good, cause you'll do 25% more damage, and when 2nd awakening will be released, you could take ice to infuse it in sailor, so that it freeze them. Since lightning does 50% more on frozen targets, its about to hit hard. You could do the same with a conjuror sunken sword too.
I want to mention poison plasma combo. you could make perma clouds that last pretty long with plasma and with some intensity and poison 20 beam you can create basically a smoke screen and lock down areas and gas anyone with bad movement to death. Plasma also makes up for poison having low damage.
I think if you combo’d wood with light when the target is blinded using wood magic has a chance to trip your enemy causing them to be stunned or something since light has no status effect synergies (i think. Or light and water)
too late to type here but i hope its helps new players if you using metal magic the tanky enemys can block and counter it so instead of using ice you can use poison so its damages them based on their max HP and its also good if you need to retreat (just posion and keep running)
what you want to do is check spell stats and what they actually do, and what its missing, then either buff what it does or try to add somethink that fills the missing stats
imbuing your magic on your style or weapons is a stronger combo than just running those 2 magics because you could imbue your ice magic with sailor style or ice magic with water sword
You can soak someone with water then paralyze them with lightning. If your fighting against an earth user you can use water. And since the world is mostly ocean lightning will be good.
I picked metal and ice and it was the worst thing iv'e ever done. ice's aoe compared to metal's aoe is like comparing an ant to a watermelon and the worst part is i cant even use water with it cuz 3rd magic isnt out. i feel like restarting the whole build from scratch and using crystal instead.
fire and poison is funny because if you light the gas cloud poison leaves behind on fire any cloud that's touching it no matter size automatically turns to flames
people are still going off the trello, which is outdated vetex made a change so synergies are capped at 10% normally, but are capped at 20% of they are a removal synergy (eg. metal shattering frozen) so you dont have 80% damage buff with metal against frozen, because they were heavily nerfed
I'm referring to how you need to inflict hydro first to increase the Damage of Pyro Via the Vaporize Reaction. Cause from what I remember freeze only increases the damage of the next physical attack that hits the affected target
It's only 10% dmg because positive interactions are now only 10% bonus and shatter interactions like metal shattering ice only 20% It was in the patch notes a long time ago but the magic section is outdated
As for me, i'm wondering which magic should I when I awaken, Ice or Lightning. I hope you guys have an answer for me. Also my friend has metal and he's going for ice.
I'm trying to figure out what to do with a glass character. I'm hoping maybe it'll have good interactions with Vamp in the future. But for now, not sure what to do with it, maybe Warlock Thermo Fist. Glass imbuement always causing the bleed and Thermo Fist getting the 10% boost while stopping the bleed. or maybe a Glass Conjurer. Anyone got any insight they can share?
I Chose magma as first magic and ash as second because magma does 40% more against petrified but ash is quite weak and petrified only procs when doing 33% of an enemys hp in one move which will never happen so that Combination sucks
Fire, explosion, ash and magma all go togerther very well buffing each other and themselves, it's actually up to person which magics of these to pick. I went with magma and fire, for example :/
you realize you can search this stuff up on the trello right? If you hit them with ash while they're charred, they become petrified, and if you explode a petrified opponent it does 40% more damage, so yes, explosion and ash is good
@@johnsai4074 well i checked in game while selecting magic and picked ash it didnt petrify them more like DoT so i was just wondering and to double check i commented here cuz i was thinking that its that good but why isnt it in the vid?
@@Gsyking im ngl i totally forgot but im pretty sure it is similar to how plasma and wood compliment each other, you can look at the wiki if you want for more specifics
If you're a mage with lighting and water it goes insane when you electrify the water puddles, I seen a few people solo General Argos within 3 minutes if you lure him into the small room
@@tova6931 10% only so it's not worth it for light. The trello is outdated on some parts and all positive damage interactions from magic are only 10% now and shatter interactions are only 20% (like metal shattering frozen)
I need to do 30% of their health in a single magic hit to do 40% damage increase on acid lol, what are the devs think honestly if i can do 30% dmg in one hit do i even need to use a second magic lol, stupid asf
@@IrisBread 4090 intel i9 24 core 128 ram 6000mhz ddr4 and it get's me down to 96 fps when I fight calvus with 14 people and is normally outside boss fights 500-600 fps
Here's the two main combined magic status effects: Freeze: Hit freezing (ice) enemies with water, wind or snow Hit snowy (snow) enemies with water. Heavy magics (and lightning) can break frozen for a big damage boost. However fluid or powder magics will be severely debuffed (including snow and wind) so consider that in your build Petrify: Base proc requires you to deal 33% of enemy hp with an ash attack Otherwise you can use an ash attack to instantly proc it on a charred (explosion) burning (fire) or scorched (plasma) The other way as stated in the video is to hit charred (explosion) with fire or plasma. Explosion and wind get the biggest damage increase off petrify (40%) but will clear the effect. Plasma and fire get half the boost but don't clear the effect.
Magic combinations aren't designed to all be balanced or on the same level, and this video is about magic combinations Wood + Sand is NOT on the same level as Metal + Magma
