Swim speed over 200% should just let you sprint walk on the water honestly. It would be a lot cooler and it would stop the insane brig swim speed + no stamina drain from walking means it’s still genuinely useful.
to add on it what would be funnier is to have tide (to spawn waves) gale (to spawn whirlpools) and bleeding (to spawn sharks) nova potions on hand to constantly create sea threats while you blitz around
imagine your in dark sea being chased by white eyes after falling off your ship and some random light speed swimmer comes up and absolutly destroys white eyes in seconds
You'll actually go slightly faster if you go onto the floor and swim from there, since run speed and swim speed merge. I have a 200% destruction build and it's so weird, I've nearly completed this build too, it's just stormsalt is so annoying to find.
A light mage using this would be scary with that aura, imagine them speeding like a torpedo at you. Though they won't have much combat effectiveness to show when they catch up.
Dude if you run this build you are completely immune to being jumped just jump into the ocean and swim to the next island if you're getting jumped. Then, spend 10 seconds resting, and swim to the next.
'Sir it seems that we are being followed and its approaching us fast' 'What is it? A sea monster? I don't see any ships behind us' 'No sir, its the full agility build guy'
go into the second range of the dark sea with a brig(make sure no white eyes are following you) then use this armor set, go to the ocean floor, pop a waterbreathing potion and an agility potion and swim until you find the epicenter of the dark sea. you can also replace one of the enchants with virtuous to deal with the insanity 4
This is actually interesting, i hope its not gutted and is added as a mechanic such as sprinting on water, would be badass, and not that unrealistic for the game standards. A powerful mage or berserker would run on water instead of using a boat
Or what if Warlocks with ice or magma imbued to iron leg would allow you to walk on water, it would be a very cool passive iron leg ability. If that running on water thing is never added I see this iron leg imbuement thing as something that could be added instead so you can just like stand on water and walk around but running too fast would make it so the platforms wouldn't be able to regenerate fast enough. I think this could be a good way to balance it.
I remember surprising a friend by swimming to sailors lodge once but this. This is something else. This build can go anywhere without a boat and out run anything.
I now want to see someone like you take on a giant white eyes with this build. Should be easy because by the time he gets close you can just swim a mile away in 5 seconds.
@@memeticgenetic5160Ice magic or magma magic can help recover stamina or you could just go to the bottom of the ocean to recover if you don't have magic. Breathing potions can make it so you can just stay down there for as long as you want.
I got a build just kinda sitting on one of my accounts that has everything you need to conqueror the seven seas by yourself. It's an Ice savant with sailor style and cannon fist. It has all guns for weapons.
These are the builds I love to see. Not super sweaty, or super strong, just pure goofyness. And tbh, ima grind to get that gear for the simple fact of fish.
@@memeticgenetic5160 if you're lucky to have a regular island spawn in the insanity 1+ ranges of the dark sea there's a chance that there'll be a small crevice in the side of the island. you can sit in that for a while and you wont die to water poisoning. ive sat and fished in one for an hour and i didnt get water poisoning at all until about 15 seconds after i started heading back to the bronze sea
