OK, STORYTIME:
For a long time, I wished to submit a custom song in an ArcCreate (community charting app) event. And where else to start but in Mystery Charting Roulette, where charters are randomly assigned to pairs and chart a song picked by wheel.
I poured my heart into producing this song, probably considering my best work yet. I submitted this song to the event for the participants to chart on (custom songs are automatically included in the song list without going through the wheel).
When the 1st charting phase started, I asked the moderator who sent me the 1st song that I'll be charting to confirm that my song is in the list. Unfortunately, I received news that it accidentally got put into the wheel instead. I was saddened by this, yet I can partly blame myself by not labeling enough that it was an custom song.
But there was luck. It was revealed that the organizers missed out a charter waiting for their song. Therefore, my song ended up being giving to them. Expect Me is back in action!
Well, the action ended there. Said charter failed to submit their half chart within the deadline, so they were disqualified and my song is no longer an entry to the event.
I still managed to have the song premiered in the MCR chart showcase. Initially, I planned to chart the song by myself, so when I heard of the dq, I submitted the chart as an honorable mention (the only chart that isn't ANiMA by xi for some reason).
Finally, this song release. I'm dying to post this to the public, but a different moderator requested me to do it after the showcase video. After 3 delays of said video, I finally got to upload this.
