Arceus is BETTER THAN EVER in Gen 9. Here's Why. 

I find it even more hilarious that the Pokémon that has a gimmick that changes its type is most known for not changing its type.

@@enoyna1001 Imagine you have ice cream, wich is epic, but now you have even more ice cream, wich is epic-er As you start eating you feel like it's never gonna end, and you couldn't be more exited, ice cream is awesome You continue, it's still awesome, so you continue, your mouth starts feeling numb from the cold, awesome, you continue, you start to forget what everything else tastes like as you assimilate the taste from the ice cream, you wonder what everyone else tastes like, but you cannot stop eating the ice cream, because it's awesome. But it makes you wonder, how weird would it be eating anything else but with the taste of ice cream (you favourite ice cream btw), and it would feel off, imagine eating barbaque that tastes like ice cream. So you begin to ponder about properties, how they make something desirable or undesirable, even if it is the same property but applied to different "things". Vanilla ice cream with caramel syrup (My favourite) is awesome, but I wouldn't like that taste in my mom's homemade soup. You're deep in the ice cream, so you start applying that to people, "What if I taste like ice cream?" you ask yourself "would people try to eat me? Would I try to eat me?" you wonder how much that would shape your life, you see it'd be a totally different life, to the point that it changes you, wich leads you to ask "Would that really be myself?" and a good question that is, the ship of theseus but applied to something more personal, yourself. You wonder about the myriad different timelines, about the universe where you're a good student, the universe where you're popular, the one where you lost your mobility due to an accident, all of that shaped you, these "you" are different people, they don't answer the same as you, you even ask yourself "I feel like I'm happy with myself, but would they be happy with me?" it's a good question, everyone thinks they "turned out right", that they're a good person, that they're right on what they belive, so how can you judge yourself? You're the most biased about yourself, there's no way you could decide if you're worthy of your life. But would other versions of yourself think you did right? Some may and some may not, depends on their circumstances, what they grew up to believe in, so you think to yourself "what does it really matter? Why should I care about what they care, they definetly didn't live the same circusmtances as me" wich is a fair point, but what if someone lived the exact same circumstances as you? Someone who had the exact same experiences growing up, literally the same, up to the biology, the very same atoms, wouldn't that person be yourself? Then how could they give a different insight on your life if they're exactly as biased as you? You wonder what is being yourself, it's complicated. It even makes you ask what if there's a clone of yourself. So you image you're a scientist you just made a cloning machine, you will clone yourself so you can help yourself make more experiments, the plan is the next: You enter the blue door, where the machine will analyse you and create a copy of every atom in your body and then put it all toegether in the room behind the red door. So you do it, you're ready to create your own clone, you even think about giving them more work than yourself, to relax after all you've done. You enter the blue door, everything is dark, the machine lights up, lighning appears creating the best light show you've ever seen, at 10 cm away from you, you're exited, the machine turns off, everything is dark again, you come out of the room, you look at the left, there's nothing but the wall, you look at your right, you see yourself "HAHA I'VE DONE IT" you hear them say, you look behind you in panic, it's the red door. You start to fear what to be is yourself, you don't know, is it the continuation of consciousness? You don't even know what to be conscious. Is the the physicality of your body, including the brain? But then how can people online recognize you? Wich is a good question, is to be yourself to be recognized as yourself? It doesn't feel right, but it kinda is, because everyone around you recognizes you as yourself, that's why everyone knows who you are. They recognize you when they see you, but can you recognize yourself? What if you've never had a mirror, what if noone could take a photo of yourself, what if you couldn't even be drawn? Is an image of yourself what you seek? Is an image enough? Is a dead person considered a person? But then you ask yourself? Does it really matter? Everyone else recognizes you as yourself, your life still works the same, you just gotta do what you believe you should do, because maybe it's a combination all of the above, there's no losing your essence, because everything you do is something that you could've done, because it's a part of you, whatever you do, you are yourself and not even yourself can negate that. You take a break of the ice cream, the pot is still half full.

​​@@goGothitaLOLtechnically it wasn't designed to be an exact Arceus copy, it was just supposed to have similar strengths to Arceus, the type changing and stats, so that it could beat any and all ultra beasts Like, it could tank a hit from any ultra beast and, being the right type, could take it out in a single hit, as it's a protective measure against the ultra beasts Labeling it an arceus clone when all it did was take inspiration while being made for very specific, clear reasons is pretty disingenuous That being said, it needs a major, major movepool update, it should have extreme coverage and options, akin to Arceus, although it's funny that multi attack is 20 base power stronger than judgement, that's funny

Just give it the legend plate. It’s pretty much the same as doing that.

I like the idea of an "Arceus is no longer fucking around" form where it's got the Omnipotent ability from Conquest, it has a 50% boost to all its damage, it has base 150 in everything, and it has a free Leftovers.

Even Roaring Moon gets dd while having a slightly higher atk and more speed than Chomp, just let the shark dance already

@@lucinsfmthis isn’t really a fair comparison. Roaring moon is weaker to rocks, has worse stab coverage (crunch vs eq) which means it often has to burn Tera for acrobatics or smth. Garchomp also has access to hazard set up moves. That makes it so if you guess the set wrong and switch to deal with dragon dance, you give up free turns of hazards.

Pretty much, Arceus should be AG he deserved that as a god of all Pokémon, is insane that his creations get more powerfull forms

Even though I would've liked to see a different stat spread or new abilities for H-electrode, I think they really did it justice despite only minimal changes. To me, it turned out better than making it another way overtuned "click the strong STAB move" pokemon.

As much as I love Sylvally, it's literally Arceus at home. It makes sense that it's just a worse version of Arceus.

Even if it wasn't viable in ubers (it is atm) it wouldn't drop to OU. That's not how the ubers tier works, pokemon only drop to OU if there are a lot of legitimate reasons to think it would be fair. Ubers usage does not affect any tiering whatsoever, and giratina would be horrible for OU.

Giratina was like top 10 in usage last month in ubers. But maybe that was just to shadow sneak calyrex-s, I'm not sure.

unviability in uber doesnt mean shit in OU. Look at deoxys normal form, the most unviable uber poke but it sure wont go to OU anytime soon

I believe this only started in Gen 9 because that's how it is in the actual game. In Gen 7 Ubers the forms weren't revealed on preview
