Arcimoto FUV Snow Driving POV

Finally snowed this season, so here is some POV of driving the Arcimoto FUV in snow. A little tricky on these uphill sections without snow tires, but possible.
Sorry about not having many ragtime videos lately. I suffered a spinal injury in March of 2023 which makes sitting at my PC painful, and that is where the music videos are. Uploading videos from the GoPro or iPad can be done from my couch.

Thats awesome, hoping to get a major blizzard on Long Island, not looking to promising though. Oh well. I remember quading in blizzards when I was younger and being stopped by the cops, good times.

They don’t. If you get one with the optional half doors, there is a third party who installs vinyl snap-on zip-up windows.

They announced they were going to make full doors, extended range batteries and HVAC. They had it in their SEC filing and that was around 2018. So far, that has not happened.

It cannot happen on this platform. This is not a car nor should it be expected to have the creature comforts of one. It is basically an electric motorcycle with a roll cage and roof. From a car perspective it could be thought of like a classic open-air Jeep, I suppose.

I would feel guilty going that slow. I mean part of it is the snow of course

All of it is the snow. The FUV easily goes over 80 mph in dry conditions. As you could see, once people saw the highway patrol car they slowed to the same sensible speed for the slushy conditions.

Generally no one minds slow drivers when conditions are this adverse. plus see how slow even the cars passing him are going.
