I think this is a good choice for lower impedance applications. Its like a cheaper version of the Scythe Kaze Flex, but still good.

Sounded pretty consistent & pleasant to me.

F12 had no humming sound like P12 at certain RMP, pretty good tho 💪

Although this fan won't perform as well as the P12 at higher impedances. It's a trade-off.

Этот вентилятор нужен для установки на выдув из корпуса. P12 - на вдув, или радиаторы

I think it has almost the same noise just in the different pitch than P12

Hi sir, im using cooler master k380 chassis, im using p12 for front and side intake currently. arctic freezer 34 esports duo as cpu cooler, and its kinda packed for top and rear exhaust. There is chassis grill holes. If i put exhaust fan, the grill holes will be right behind the exhaust fans. In this case, should I choose P12 or F12 for top and rear exhaust? I tried putting F12 as the top exhaust fan, its very silent even at max rpm...not sure about P12

So, does the f12 have 0rpm mode?

This fan sounds almost exactly like the kaze flex 120mm in tone. Similar specs for rpm and air flow too

is the speed controllable in bios?

Hey are the p12s much better than these ones? The 5 pack difference is 6 dollars, 30 for f12s pwms and 36 for p12 pwms
@ydihtty
@ydihtty Год назад
Well they're for different use-cases. P12 is designed for high impedance, while F12 is for low impedance. The P12 is still quite good at low impedance though so its probably a better all-rounder, even if the F12 is better at low impedance.

Hi i stumbled in your vids , subscribed instantly , i need your help i have the AQIRYS Canopus ARGB case with the default case fans and they are so noisy, what would you recomend arctic p12 or f12 , i want to keep the budget under 25 euros max, for like 4-5 fans. Or if you have something else to recomend besides arctic , im open to sugestions , also what do you think will be best setup to mount them , top fans to push up , back fan to push outside ,front fans to push inside? PLS HELP :) apreciate.

I think the front fans should be Arctic P12, and the rear fan should be Arctic F12. You could install top exhausts if you want, but I don't think they would help you much unless you already have problems with something like motherboard VRM temperatures.

@@ydihtty Hello. In my build front fan is P12 PWM and back fan is F12 PWM. Did I install them correctly? I ran them at maximum speed and the buzzing of the motor is heard in the P-version, while only air noise comes from the F-version. I had a question, maybe it's worth buy the F12 version forward too? (or put P12 on the processor cooler instead of the ID-Cooling ID-12025M12S)? Thanks.

I've heard that these fans vibrate and are not as suitable for CPU cooler. I have P12 slim where a certain oscillation is seen (but it seems minimal), while on old Scythe SY1225HB12H-PS there is no visible oscillation at all. Comparisons F12 to the Scythe Kaze Flex (which is CPU cooler in addition with additional anti-vibration rubber) may not fit completely I guess.
@ydihtty
@ydihtty 2 года назад
Honestly I don't think the rubber corners make any difference at all. It does make the fan feel nicer when handling it though. The only exception I think is Noctua's gasket which they supply with the A12x25.
