Nah, it’s not true. Though they are canines, it is impossible for a fox to breed with any other animal other than another fox. On exceedingly rare occasions, arctic foxes and red foxes do manage to mate, however this is generally unheard of due to being so rare.

You forgot the most interesting thing about them: they use magnetic fields to hunt! When they do that dive attack into the snow to catch prey, they have a 60% rate of success if they face North. If they face any other direction, they usually miss.

Actually, foxes (being canines) do indeed have claws. Grey foxes are also capable of climbing trees like a cat, seeing as how their claws are retractable.
