They came pretty close to where I live (30 km radius) twice ; once during Humbug Era, the other one during prime AM era. They also came in reasonable distance in SIAS era. So gutted I haven't seen them once yet.
Most underrated ? Bro, 90 % of the fanbase thinks that humbug is the best album so far and your calling it 'underrated'. The most underrated AM album is without a doubt, suck it and see.
@@ziplictic2126 Yeah, is actually like that. However, is not like Suck and See it is better, in my opinion... But really forgot or disliked (which is not cool)
I wish I could have this Alex forever. He was so innocent, unsure, but yet mesmerizing all at once with that heavy, soft voice that we all can fall asleep listening to.
I still remember the first I heard this song. I was just discovering different genres of music. It was the most magical song I have ever heard. It just has the perfect components to evoke like an ethereal feeling yknow
I think this has become one of my favourite Arctic Monkeys' songs. I love the beat. The lyrics. The guitars. I mean, everything. Arctics have done it again. Perfection.
Still can’t believe I saw them on every tour before they made it huge here. I’ve been a diehard fan since Jan 2006 and these songs and songwriting are still unparalleled.
I know it's just my opinion, for sure, but when I thought about ranking them, I ended up like this: 1. Favourite Worst Nightmare 2. A.M. 3. Humbug 4. WPSIM, TWIN (decided to use the initials) 5. Suck It and See Let's discuss, if you enjoy. I really like talking about these things.
I admire Alex's creativity in which he created such a unique sound of music.I support and respect this band 100%.All i got to say is man this guy/band mates are legends and that they are FUCKING AWSOME!
Sofi Boffa Too Much to Ask, Teddy Picker; Crying Lightning, The Jeweller's Hands, A Certain Romance, Fire & Thud, 505, Afternoon's Hat and the list goes on, the great tracks of this bands are limitless and AM is probably the third best album of them.
I can't understand why Humbug got such average press. It was such a vast improvement on their first two records, and those were brilliant albums to start with.
This song is so damn good! I still remember the first time I listened to it, I am an AM fan since 2009 and here I am, 2023 and this song still gives me the chills.
There aren't enough words to explain how much this song means to me. It's my favourite song ever. Such magical armonies and lyrics. It brings me memories and nostalgic everytime I listen it. I would be the happiest If I they play it again. It sounds kinda TBHC vibes so...
Fools on parade cavort and carry on For waiting eyes That you would rather be beside than in front of But she's never been the kind to be hollowed by the stares She swam out of tonight's phantasm Grabbed my hand and made it very clear There's absolutely nothing for us here It's a magnolia celebration To be attempted on a Wednesday night It's better than to get a reputation As a miserable little tyke At least that's the conclusion She came to in this overture The secret door swings behind us She's saying nothing She's just giggling along Her arms were folded most indignant Not looking like she was soon to leave I had to squint in order to believe And then like a butler pushing on a bookshelf I'm unveiling the unexpected How she was never gonna look to? Suddenly embarrassed and corrected How could such a creature Survive in such a habitat The secret door swings behind us She's saying nothing She's just giggling along And even if they were to find us I wouldn't notice, I'm completely occupied At all the fools on parade Cavort and carry on for waiting eyes That you would rather be beside than in front of But she's never been the kind To be hollowed by the stares Fools on parade Frolic and fuck about to make her gaze Turn to a scribble on a page by a picture That holds her options But you're daft to think she'd care Fools on parade Fools on parade Fools on parade Conduct a sing-along
Although my favorite albums are the first 2, humbug feels like a dream. It's a weird feeling, more like an experience, like those blurry images of imaginary places you have from your childhood
I wouldn't say better but I don't get why some people like to bash those albums. All of their albums are pretty flippin amazing if you ask me. I like that they haven't stuck with one style.
Gosh! He sings this song sooo beautifully. Alex I love you! SIAS and Humbug my favorite albums of all time. Well, he sings all songs beautifully. Love this man!
