@@luiseduardocortesmoreno3567 But they wrote it, so no matter how “easy” it is, they invented it and put it together. It didn’t exist until they made it, and now it exists. One of the wonderful things about its existence is the drumming. So why belittle it? Whenever I hear Meg White’s drumming, I always LOVE IT. I LOVE her drumming, yet all THE DRUMMING EXPERTS routinely put her down, and make comments like yours here. It has to do with FITTING THE BAND’S SOUND. This drummer fits the Arctic Monkeys like a hand in glove, just the same as Meg fit and Ringo fit.
I watched this on mtv when I was that age too and it changed the entire trajectory of my life and I still love this song soooo much i play it often still 🔥🔥🔥
@@razor6056they are still good live, just that their style of live performances and speed has original fans not liking the change of it all and prefer the upbeat, fast songs with no american sounding vocals
Was 4 or 5 years since last time I saw these live videos. They're just gold, I'm thinking of downloading them and save for the rest of my life Hahahaha. What a session of AM. Missing this young style, now they look like my grandpa
Yes, but I know what he's feeling there. The constant halting chord changes creates a sort of turbulent atmosphere that is reminiscent of some mathrock acts
Because its easier to sing that way, you can concentrate more on the singing than remembering the strumming pattern. This song was written quite early so they probably made it that way to make it easier for themselves.
Anticipation has the habit to set you up For disappointment in evening entertainment, but Tonight there'll be some love Tonight there'll be a ruckus, yeah, regardless of what's gone before I want to see all of the things that we've already seen The lairy girls hung out the window of the limousine Of course it's fancy dress And they're all looking quite full on in bunny ears and devil horns and how Anticipation has the habit to set you up For disappointment in evening entertainment, but Tonight there'll be some love Tonight there'll be a ruckus, yeah, regardless of what's gone before I want to see all of the things that we've already seen I wanna see you take the jackpot out the fruit machine And put it all back in You've got to understand that you can never beat the bandit, no And she won't be surprised and she won't be shocked When she's pressed the star after she's pressed unlock And there's verse and chapter sat in her inbox And all that it says is that you've drank a lot And you should bear that in mind tonight, bear that in mind Yeah, you should bear that in mind tonight, bear that in mind And you can pour your heart out but her reasonin' will block Owt you send her after nine o' clock [Verse 3] Anticipation has the habit to set you up For disappointment in evening entertainment, but Tonight there'll be some love, oh Tonight there'll be a ruckus, yeah, regardless of what's gone before [Chorus] And she won't be surprised and she won't be shocked When she's pressed the star after she's pressed unlock And there's verse and chapter sat in her inbox And all that it says is that you've drank a lot And you should bear that in mind tonight, bear that in mind Yeah, you should bear that in mind tonight, bear that in And you can pour your heart out around three o' clock When the two-for-one's undone the writer's block
Matter of preference. I prefer the Strokes better even if I like AM too. The Strokes were a huge influence to AM anyway and both bands respect each other so there's no need to go around comparing and stuff
@bonfirejovi well , on drums this song is pretty hard cause its so damn fast....and if you know that the drummer of this band just started drumming cause it was the only instrument left , its damn awesome o.o
@undershock94 I used to agree with you but every now and then you see videos where he's giving it loads. The Fake Tales of San Francisco live video he's enjoying himself anyway.
