This video shows you how to create a small Caller ID decoder using the Arduino UNO and a custom-made HT9032D module.
The HT9032D module we created here is based on the application example shown in the IC datasheet. This module consists of standard through-hole type components. No special soldering equipment is required to assemble this module.
This caller ID unit displays the telephone number and date/time sent by the telephone exchange.
Additional details and links to the source and design files are available at jayakody2000lk.blogspot.com/20....

Absolute best part is at 6:01, the clicking sound when the phone line is plugged in. That is attention to detail.

Wondering putting a Bluetooth LE module or swapping the Arduino for a ESP32 and making an App... ...you could just look to your Smartphone or Smartwatch and decide if you will hury up to answer os just let it go... Very Nice Job! Congratulations!

Hello. Thank you very much for sharing this code. How can I change this code for sdmf mode. I changed the header from 80 to 4 but it doesn't extract the message length correctly

Is there any source for the PCB for the HT9032 module? Files for it don't do much good for a lot of people

Hi, this is done as an experiment and not for business purposes. Everything related to this module is available on the GitHub page. To fabricate the PCB, download Gerber files from github.com/dilshan/arduino-caller-id/releases/download/1.0.0/cli-module-26072021A.zip and upload it to the PCB manufacturer which is familiar to you. I build these PCBs using PCBWay (www.pcbway.com/).

Nothing innovative. Do it without the HT9032D, by digitizing and processing the analog signal directly with the Arduino. Then it will be worth it. You're just doing this to sell us your useless little setup. I can read a datasheet too.

Even if it was his objective, why would you matter? but... you didn't even went to his blog to see the post.. ...no link from him to purchasing anything... ...just a very good post explaining the making process.

@@thomasvieira In short, more useless content on RU-vid. Just to make a video and pretend to be smart. There is so much content on the Internet to learn electronics in a serious way, starting with the real basics. Even the code for his Arduino sketch is lousy. It's a 500 lines spaghetti, you don't learn anything about how to write code wisely (factoring, organization, objects, patterns ...). It's not serious, nothing to keep ! The article on his blog is not interesting either. A setup to shape the phone line voltage before digitizing it with the ADC of the Arduino and a small demonstration of signal processing would have really impressed me. Look at this, it's amazing (if you can understand it) the whole IF/AF processing is done by the ATMega328 in real time: QCX-SDR on 20m 2020-01-03 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RxCbVFgERNk.html

@@dolandump I'm so sorry! I didn't notice that he did this to try to impress you! My bad

@@thomasvieira I wasn't speaking for myself. It was just a nice way of explaining that it's just useless BS. Nothing to keep. No point in publishing this stuff; Mr. Mentalist.
