86a was a great idea.

Ricta Clouds were one of the only scaled down in size soft wheels available that would fit well on a standard skateboard without too much need for risers. They've slimmed the profile down to fit skates even better plus have three different hardnesses in a bunch of different sizes which is why they have stayed stocked up in our shop.

Oj did it with the keyframes as well

@@pikks69 Yes, the OJ keyframes were the next wheel that would fit on right on without much need for a riser free and roll so smooth

@MeAndrew I'd go 56 or 58MM at the least on an old school board for the maximum rolll

Great to see innovation from other wheel companies for sure! Keep in mind that Clouds are available in 3 durometers (78a, 86a, 92a) and 7 sizes between 52 to 60mm.

Dragon wheels aren't that greqt for on the street, i use them now for like 5 mo ths, and believe me your feet still hurts by vibrations if you street skate in a city, at parks they work and do what Powell said, i bought a set of Ricta Clouds 52mm 78a, i use them to skate to the skatepark or fun city rides and have my dragons in my bag and switch then at the park

@@djgeneticdisorderI have the opposite experience from you. Dragons work best on the street, in my opinion. In most street areas that I ride through, there are barely any vibrant areas besides those super rough areas. My legs don’t even hurt when I use the wheels. I rode the dragon’s 54mm wheels from San Mateo to another city that was 10 miles away with my backpack that weigh 15 pounds without any issues. I rode through some rough and horrible road conditions without any isssues. At the skatepark is when I have issues with them being too bouncy and sloppy.

This was filmed in Kansas City (KC). Notice the Escapist deck dude is skating. Long live Escapist skate shop.❤️

I've skated all 3 kinds over the years, and they're a game changer for skating rough, crusty spots. Apart from having to do shuv and 180 tricks spot on because of the grippiness, I've never had any problems sticking with grinds that a little wax couldn't solve. I keep a normal street setup with Spitfire F4s and one with the softest Clouds as a all terrain setup.

Hey bro what about crystal Chores 95A? Are they good?
@ariekanibalie
@ariekanibalie 2 года назад
@@loewe-lamm couldn't tell ya, but one thing I've learned is that the duro in itself doesn't say everything, though 95 sounds like a good midway between rock-hard and gooey soft, like the F4 'street' formula

So i see the 56mm 78a clouds and then 54mm 78a ricta cloud chromes. Whats the difference between the two kther than the size obviously and them being cored. What benefit do those chromes have?

I just got them today, perfect balance imo. I love cruising to and from skate spots and they just work for all of it. Was surprised how easy they are to revert power slide too, they seem slidier than OJ keyframe 87a's. Not as slidey as Dragon wheels but way smoother.
