Thanks for sharing! Do the shipwreck cups actually taste salty? And the cup your friend made looks kind of like a Japanese style. Is this correct? It appears more shallow, which will definitely cause the faster cooling.
Yes, there is a salty taste that doesn't wash off. I tried with another cup and after several washings the taste was the same. And yes he made it to be japanese style, but because he makes them himself he can easaly make other shapes :)
