This really helps. I was diagnosed with PCOS many years ago, and my gynaec suggested birth control pills... without having any dialogue with the doc, my mom told me I can't take those. For years, i questioned why she did that, and found out that she thought it could lead to infertility and stuff in the future. It's been years and my acne and other symptoms are so bad that i am desperately making my mom reconsider it and also talk to the doc
I’m in the process of trying to get diagnosed for pcos because I have all the symptoms and the obgyn said that birth control can be a great option for the hair issues and period issues so I’m considering it. My mom keeps advising against it because she said she’s been taking it for decades and she has weight that she can’t lose. But I’m suffering so much both physically and mentally seeing myself in the mirror every day and hating every single symptom like the facial hair, hair loss and my periods are so unpredictable. I just want to try it and see if it works and if I even get side effects and maybe it’s worth it. But I’m suffering so much that it most likely is worth it. My mom can’t dictate what I do and don’t take because I’m over 18, but it’s frustrating that she doesn’t understand me.
@@deeptajayakumar4964the symptoms of pcos like hair loss and facial hair are what give me depression, so if birth control helps it then so be it. I literally hate myself every time I look in the mirror
I have one confusion, birth control pills is taken in pcos , then we all know ki ye pills ovulation nhi krwaayega , to in future wo women jo pcos se suffer kar rahi hai wo conceive kese kregi baby ,😢
