Very few men are interested in a huge masculine woman, and very few women are interested in a feminine small man, it's very hard to fight basic biological preferences.

They’re least desired because of their snappy, obnoxious, independent attitude…plain and simple. I actually prefer them minus what I previously mentioned.

Black women are strong and independent and don't need no men, so what the fuss about, y'all don't need us in the first place, you shouldn't be upset if you are not desired by people you don't need.

Black women, you’re loved. The best ex I have is a black woman. She was in her masculine when we met but when she submitted and felt comfortable in her true feminine essence she was amazing. To this day I could still call her up and she would meet up with me but different paths led us to break up. Black woman in their masculine can make moves most “men” can’t and these little boys get insecure but if she don’t feel safe and secure, she’ll never submit and she shouldn’t submit to a baby boy.

I have never ever commented on any platform before but the comments here are breaking my heart. The acidic, negative contruction of the black female in these comments and in the discussion is painful to watch and read. The women described do exist - we have all met them - but the fascination with the constant portrayal of black women as these loud, masculine, destructive creatures is disturbing to me, especially as it seems to be being voiced mostly by our own black men. There description does not describe me or my peers. I am all for self scrutiny and introspection, however I question the motivation and method. Is this meant to help black women? I raise this because since starting secondary school last year my beautiful, dark skinned black daughter has faced the most disgusting, crushing verbal assaults from who?... Her own people - black boys. She has repeatedly been called a gorilla, ugly, fat and a man. Constant taunts about her appearance, her hair, her lack of a bottom. My daughter is stunning but she doubts everything about herself and is now obsessed with make up, hair gel and changing her clothes to be acceptable because her natural self (which is beautiful) has been derided by peers who could be her cousins, brothers or friends. Then I look on this platform to see a repeated, vicious attack on black women. It breaks my heart. If my daughter saw these comments it would destroy her and reinforce her growing perception that black females are not desired, are not beautiful and can not find love. She believes (already) that she will not find a black boy/man in the future to love her because black are actually telling her black girls are no good. Where are they getting this from? Then I look here and see similar statements being voiced. My husband and I have been together 22 years and married for 15 years. My daughter sees black love everyday but sooo many of us have been poisoned with this self hate and as parents we can't compete with these destructive perceptions. The boys (black boys) at my daughter's school are winning. Their negative opinions of the black female are picking away at our child. I ask the black men who are commenting here to remember that their words can be swords. Think about who you are cutting.

Black Women are not a Monolith. And that's coming from a Black Man who loves Black Women, who love and respect Black Men.

The black woman mentioned that black women are, "strong and independent" and the black man said, "masculine" back to her. It was a huge hint as to why black women are least desirable. This diva mentality that they cherish so much is keeping them single. Heterosexual masculine men don't want masculine women. That's why Asian women are most desired. I am black, and I will not date black women. When I was a lot younger, a lot of black women didn’t like me because I wasn’t “black enough. “. I tried dating black women later, but it never worked out. Their attitudes will get excessively mean and they have become super controlling. Not all black women are like this, but the ones that I happen to come across definitely were. So I stopped dating them. More peace that way.

Western world is so cruel to people like Black girls, Indian and Asian men, it is sickening, when I was living in Africa (Kenya) as a Indian man, there was no such discussion, black girls in Africa were wanted by everyone, almost all indian men in Africa wanted them. As someone who is married to a wonderful black woman, for me it has nothing to do with skin, it has everything to do with attitude. We generally don't want overweight, attitude or masculine traits regardless of your skin tone. You'll have better success if you keep your figure, have a good smile, and stop being argumentative, we get enough of that from other men.

Some people generate stereotypes but not everyone, if all black women was tarred with the same brush then that is a sorry state of affairs. As a West African woman I'm honestly utterly shocked and disappointed on how black women are generalised. Of course there are "ghetto" and "ratchet" black women like in every race. I live in Germany and have never felt I was less desired because of my race or dark skin. I'm happily engaged to my Eastern European fiancé and before him, I never had trouble meeting high quality men. What's most bizarre to me how much black men seem to degrade black women on social media, its just sad at this point, I have no words left and just pray for this division, hate to end. It does more harm than good for our community. How do we black women and black men demand respect from others when we don't seem to treat each other with respect?

It’s partially to do with the fact that the loud catty and argumentative black women has been shown in pop culture a lot. So I think a lot of guys don’t want that or that is the image that comes to mind. The second hurtle to cross (especially if you’re a white guy in the west) has been just the general racial tension from the last 4 to 6 years. It seems like a lot of of the black community sees a white guy as an oppressive force. And I rather avoid those uncomfortable meetings with her family with that in the current cultural boat and climate. It’s a shame though.

I’m 30 black male and I have never heard a single black dark skin woman ever in my life speak about not being desired. I seen these black women being wanted by so many black men and other men to. I think In today’s time the black women image is not desired because of how they carry themselves. I would also say the black community is also part of why they move the way they do to. I was on my own for a while. Life can be rough and can make a woman forget her soft side. My bf, husband now, we used to argue all the time. One day I realized I was competing with him, i was the only competing. I had to reach into my soul and find the woman in me. I backed off and let him lead. I'm glad I did. I don't have to be afraid anymore. He will protect me not because I can't but because I want him to. I love my husband I praise him every chance I get. If you look at social media, black women are shown to be HIGHLY aggressive, even more so then men, violent, disrespectful and very entitled, qualities most men DO NOT WANT! look at regular media and you see basically the same thing, black women more aggressive, more violent tendencies, more loud, drama filled and very poor familiar ties. Again, most men DO NOT WANT those qualities in their woman. The visuals, the portrayal of black women needs to change, looking from the outside in, black women have shown almost NO redeeming qualities men would want in a wife, let alone a mother to be.

Advertising does not impact men nearly as much as it impacts women's choices. I have a strong conviction that this is the reason feminism was fanned out, funded properly and decidedly tries to knock the man off his control of the home.

I live in Canada and right now we are taking in a lot of immigrants from African countries and many of them work in health care as do I. I find these women are generally cool because they haven't grown up in 3rd generation welfare homes but have been raised in nuclear families, so they have respect for men. The black women from here generally scare the hell out of me so I just steer clear of them.

Personally I stick to people from my own cultural background as I think that there will be the best chance of a "meeting of minds" and least chance of conflict. Race tends to indicate a difference in cultural upbringing.

I’m a BW from the U.S and this hasn’t been experience at all! I get hit on, asked out and have been in relationships with men of many different ethnicities. My dating experience is from Jordanian/Syrian, Indian, Jamaican, Greek, Puerto Rican etc My current bf is biracial. When was on dating apps I had a ton of likes/responses from more non BM then BM but I think it’s because that’s who’s mostly on there. Non BM are not hard to get AT all! So I’m perplexed by these comments. However, I would say the “ghetto BW” archetype isn’t a myth, I’ve seen it with my own eyes. I only ran into these kind of women in the inner cities and poorer neighborhoods. A lot of them to do have poor attitudes and etiquette. Idk if it’s considered normal behavior there because the BW I grew up with are the ones that get told the “talk or act white”. I know plenty that were shy and quiet in school and are really polite.Most of them grew up in two parent households like me so… Also, how are BM creeping up on WM when those same studies showed that BM had the least responses from non BW? The OK Cupid study showed BM in the negatives except from BW.BM in the U.S also are the least married men in the U.S too…
