Everyone will tell you that bologna, hot dogs and other processed meats are junk food and really bad for your health, and they are wrong. Humans have been curing meat with salt and spices for thousands of years (see video graphic). When you stop thinking about processed meats as a category and just think of what they are made of, it becomes clear that they are a healthy food for you to eat.

I'm a truck driver. I sit in a truck for hours at a time. I keep hot dogs, eggs, hamburger patties in my refrigerator. In my little pantry I have sardines, Vienna sausages, mackerel in olive oil. I have lost a lot of weight eating this diet. And I keep it off. As long as I don't go crazy with sugar and carbs. Obesity is a huge problem in the trucking industry so I try to educate other drivers about proper eating habits. A lot Of those eating habits. I learned from this channel. Thank you sir

Not cheaper than 100% beef patties however. You can get frozen beef patties for $4 a lb. Hot dogs are $4 a lb or more for decent ones. Why not just air fry a bunch of hamburger patties and have them ready to eat? Cleaner is better. No corn syrup and filler garbage. Viennas are good on the road though. Better isn’t best. McDs burger patties are $1.20 each - also way better than viennas.

For the last five years of our Jack Russell’s life, we fed her hotdogs because her teeth were getting bad. She loved the hot dogs! All of our friends were looking down their noses of us for feeding our dog hotdogs. It’s so so bad for her. Well, she just passed away, but she lived to a ripe ole age of almost 16. I don’t think she would’ve made it that long on bag dog food.

Thank you, Dr. Berry!! I was so sick at the end of the holidays last winter and was really pretty scared. I prayed and asked God for a diet plan which would work this time. I stumbled upon your RU-vid site and began Keto, then Carnivore, then Ketovore, etc. I lost 25 pounds in 4 months, regained energy and a lot of mental clarity. Even my eyesight improved. I ate carbs via fruit and Kombucha through the hot summer because I had lots of landscaping to take care of in the highly- humidified heat. Through the summer I lost lots of visceral fat because of the sweating and physical activity. I plan to go back on Carnivore and intermittent fasting to lose the next 20 pounds. My husband was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Because he’s seen the plan work for me, he’s onboard to do the plan himself. He’s lost 10 pounds in two weeks and turned the corner with carb withdrawal a few days ago. I’m having him watch your vids on reversing Type 2 with diet. He’s so encouraged!! Dr.Berry, you can't know how happy I am to hear this!! We have a small meat processor that serves us here in Idaho, Utah and Nevada I believe. Maybe a couple other states near by but very few. It's called Falls Brand meats and they make the absolute best all beef hot dogs I have ever had anywhere in the US and I have had hotdogs in nearly every state in my 54 yrs. The only place that ever came close was a "general store" called Prices store when I was a teenager in Lincolnton GA. You could buy penny candy, drop off your dry cleaning, buy 3 eggs and order your casket. I loved that place as I felt like it was my own little house on the prairie store in a world where they didn't exist anymore. I was so heartbroken when we started on carnivore that I would have to give up hotdogs. I'm also a very serious sugar addict but had a harder time with hotdogs. I ate a whole package and thought well I just nose dived off the wagon over hotdogs and just kept swimming away from the wagon...over hotdogs. ..I feel like crap now, I hurt, have no energy and sit on my butt. Over hotdogs...... now I will have to go through all the bathroom issues and feeling even worse again to get back on carnivore again now that I know that I can eat my favorite food again!!!!! I will start over again in a few days and in a few weeks I will be celebrating my favorite food!! HOTDOGS 🌭 WITHOUT THE BREAD ❤

Thanks for sharing, same here. I lost half of my body weight, I'm wearing pants I haven't worn since high school and one more benefit to going carnivore is that I only have to take out the trash once every two weeks, no more wasting food.

They maybe have random parts of meat and not the choicest cuts, but they are not ultra processed.

only "all beef" hotdogs are 100% meat. most list as second ingredient corn meal, then wheat flour, soy, sugar, etc. READ the ingredients list!!
