Have friends with Wilson sets ~ $480 inc the bag. They seem to go alright and I hit he driver a couple of times with really good results. $500 inc bag is a much better starting point than $2500. Usually the irons have a lot of offset, but that's probably good for beginners

What an amazing swing. One of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Also your plain speaking works wonders in an age where people are afraid to say what they really think. Add another subscriber to the list and keep the great content coming.

You are a super star. I have asked the likes of James Robinson and Rick Shiels to review these clubs as well as the Prosimmon. Macgregor and Prosimmon are the clubs that I believe newbies should be looking at using due to cost as well as ease of use. The aforementioned RU-vid Golfers are aiming their sites at rich people wanting to take up golf. They do not seem to be aiming golf at those who are not so wealthy. Once again, thank you for reviwing these clubs.

Nice review!! I would like to get a newer set of irons ones from 2010 on up. The ones I am using are late 90's are earlier 2000's. Only good then they weren't really used so they are basicly new just outdated. I think I am eventually going to check the used market though!!😀

I would properly start the opgrade with a wedge and then a driver after regripping with jumbo grips

I just started playing golf this year, I bought a new set of ping g425's, played about 5 rounds and I'm actually getting really good. Yesterday I shot a 44 on the front 9 and 42 on the back. Where are you located, I would love to play a round with you

Costco are selling a set of MacGregor DCT400 clubs for £290, would you recommend them for a lady golfer who is just starting out. Will she struggle with the length if they are mens clubs, she is 5ft 6in?

I think the length will be fine, I am 5ft 4 and they worked for me
