We are FL residents & we have the Pixie Dust Pass & we love it. It’s only $399 and you get the same discount as the higher tiered ones. We generally go after 2 so holding three park passes will be a non issue as of April 18th. During the block out times ( weekends/holidays) we wouldn’t want to be in the park because of the crowds. For our family it definitely works.

Hi Dan and Leslie!! As retired Tampa Bay, Florida residents, our Pixie Dust APs are so totally worth it for us!! We do only visit the parks on week days - would never go on weekends or Holidays and we take full advantage of AP hotel discounts as well as the discounts on dining and merch!! The best investment Hubby and I made when we relocated 2 years ago from New Jersey!! Thanks for another very informative video!!

It all depends on how you travel. Annual pass, + Frontier flight (very cheap flights) that saves you money on flights. Also you can do weekend trips, and don't always have to stay at a Disney resort. Staying off property and flying cheaper saves a lot.

There is no chance this is worth it for me. We are dvc but still. The last AP we had was in 2019, and it was like $650 I think. With no blackouts. Now it’s $1400 and memory maker isn’t free and Fast passes are gone. And no ME so the prices have skyrocketed. Our daughter got married and moved to central Florida and they get park passes at their Air Force Basel if they don’t do that no parks for us

Enjoyed the video. As usual, it's not only entertaining (y'all crack me up), but it's also well done and extremely informational. I've had tons of clients contact me with this exact question. I am going to start sending each to this video, since the explanation and comparison is so well done. I was so looking forward to the AP coming back and came close to a knee jerk reaction, but even as a travel advisor who visits from out of state once a month, it isn't worth it financially (for me) for the incredi-pass.

As a DVC owner using your DVC points one time at WDW then the next time using your points to go Vero Beach, Hilton Head or somewhere else with your points, then again an AP maybe not a good purchase 🤔 It's so hard to make a decision when you are trying to figure out is it a good value, when Disney is limiting the time frame for a AP purchase. Thanks for sharing 🤗

Great video and exactly what I was thinking with the breakdown. We are the type that comes down 3 times a year just for the weekend. So for us it is still cheaper to pay out of pocket for those trips than to buy the annual pass. The wife and I will be doing Universal Orlando annual passes, the top tier universal annual pass (premier pass) is $20 cheaper than the Sorcerer pass from Disney. Includes their water park (volcano bay), has no blackout dates, up to 35% off onsite hotels, Express pass (fast pass) after 4pm. Early Park admission on select dates, basically all of October through December you can get in an hour early, free valet parking and free parking if valet is full, plus discounts on merch and food. All in all, it's a way better deal. We love Disney, but we don't love the prices they are charging and the lack of benefits you get for them.

Love the video. International DVC member here love the fact the annual pass is back . However my beef with the annual pass is this . If the parks are so busy why give out annual passes at all. Sorry FL residents but it doesn’t make sense to give the cheapest annual pass to the people who live the closest to the parks and then say well the parks are so busy
@AddictedtotheMouse
@AddictedtotheMouse Год назад
True, but I think Disney is seeing much softer sales this summer than in the past, judging on the discounts they’ve released. So I think they’re trying to get ahead of not being so busy by selling the annual passes now.

Thankfully we are DVC and I was able to get us Sorcerer's passes in Fall 2021 when they went on sale. I'm afraid to let them expire now even though Disney said they'd be available to DVC members more often.

A fabulous and informative production especially for those such as myself who lives in the U.K. It is disappointing but somewhat understandable that we can only purchase the Incredi Pass. However with a WDW 14 day Magical pass including memory maker and waterparks retailing in the U.K for £547 ($444.71) we would need to visit a lot of times to make the annual pass financially viable.

My wife and I are from Pennsylvania and have a unique situation that definitely make our annual passes worth the money. First of all we have worked at the same company for 20+ years so we have 5 weeks of vacation. So we can easily come to Disney 3 times a year and still have vacation time for other trips. Secondly , we usually stay on property or good neighbor hotels so that takes care of the park pass limitation. Thirdly we are retired military and take advantage of the many discounts Disney offer us. Finally my wife has a handicap parking placard so the free parking perk basically equates to free preferred parking. The discounts on dining and merchandise are an added bonus. I realize every ones situation is different, but annual passes definitely work for us. Can't wait for retirement so we can come more often! Thanks for the videos, always looking for more ways to enjoy Disney and central Florida.
@AddictedtotheMouse
@AddictedtotheMouse Год назад
That’s awesome! Quick question though - with being retired military, can’t you get six salute tickets per year. Would that not cover your three trips for you and your wife? You could take advantage of the ADA parking permit whether you have AP or get free parking from staying in a Disney resort, so that wouldn’t be factored in. Glad you love your AP, just thinking with the military salute tix, those would far outweigh the $3k for incredi-pass 🤷‍♂️
@rtrox24

@@AddictedtotheMouse You are correct about the salute to service tickets being a better deal, but we are planning to retire in 2 to 3 three years and becoming snow birds and with the recent questionable availability of Annual passes we are reluctant to give them up! To me, the AP is extremely worth it! I’m a DVC member who lives in NY who usually makes the trip to WDW 4 times a year for my “ giraffe therapy”. I use the pass an average of 28 days each year. With buying airfare and usually renting a car, I wouldn’t be able to afford these trips without my AP! Also, the discount on parking, merchandise and sometimes food really helps the cost. I also use the resort discounts when I run out of points and need to stay a night or 2 somewhere besides my beloved AKL.
@AddictedtotheMouse
@AddictedtotheMouse Год назад
I agree, for you it definitely seems worth it
@shelleykays3225
@shelleykays3225 Год назад
In your out of state business example you didn’t mention that you must stay on site or else you’re paying $25/day to park when you’re in the theme parks. If you’re in the 4 day example you’re paying an extra $100 each time if you’re offsite and for the 10 day example you’re paying additional $250. That doesn’t include the 20% off merchandise and 10% off table service dining that also contributes to your savings. So that $200 difference for the two 4-day trips is easily made up of you’re offsite, and pretty close of you’re onsite and buy merch and eat at table service restaurants.
@AddictedtotheMouse
@AddictedtotheMouse Год назад
Very true, however we also didn’t calculate any discounts from packages given by Disney for booking both a Disney resort and tickets, which would also include free parking. That would make it even less worth the cost of an annual pass, even given the merch and food discounts. There’s just too many variables to cover all of them in one video. But thanks so much for watching!

I have the Pirate Pass and living about an hour away from the parks, this one works perfectly for me! @GoofyGuy-WDW
@GoofyGuy-WDW Год назад
One issue, as you’re doing your calculations for the incredipass, and whether it’s worth it, I agree it will take at least a couple trips to really make it worthwhile, however, you’re not taking into account the 20% that they are going to save if across-the-board on food drinks, nonalcoholic, of course, and parking discounts as well as discounts on all the merchandise that they’re likely to spend money on. It does add up significantly and quickly, but you do have really good point and I appreciate the video. Edited to fix Siri’s mistakes
